I remember my great grandmother driving here for the lower prices. Sadly the prices keep going up here too. Maybe it’s more that the CEOs of the food products themselves are incredibly greedy and increasing the prices, but it’s sad that a regular size bag of Cape Cod chips is like $6 at this grocery store now….
Sure a lot of people in Massachusetts make six figures + (and love to complain about how expensive life is here), but a lot of us don’t even make half of that! I stopped the other day because I thought they had decent prices, but they don’t. The selection is small and not really worth it for the prices on most items. Maybe the CEO here isn’t that greedy, but there is NO reason for the prices of food to be going up so much because every CEO wants to become the next billionaire. No one needs a billion dollars to themself. Go look at “wealth shown to scale.” There’s just no need for it.
Sad to see a place with a reputation for low prices selling a can of soup for $5.99 and a bag of chips for...

Very good checkout experience, always plenty of registers open and they always seem to have baggers too, a real plus. Trucchi's is very true to form in promoting themselves as "your hometown store." There seems to be an emphasis on warm, friendly, personal service which is refreshing to see. This is in contrast to larger big box retailers where this is sorely lacking. This being said, there are some improvements that Trucchi's should consider. Chief among them are longer store hours, closing at 9 p.m. is too early in this day in age where people are just up later, 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. would be more reasonable. Also, this may seem insignificant, but I personally find the carpeting in the Abington store to be a turnoff, seems like a hygiene issue to have carpeting in a supermarket, don't like it. Overall though, very good...
Read moreThis store is nothing like the one in West Bridgewater there is no order of where things are they only have the small carriages I've never seen a large one and it's almost like they can't wait for you to leave. They also only carry some stuff not a lot and if you go within a half hour to 45 minutes before they're supposed to close they have already started removing the vegetables the fresh vegetables so if there's anything that you can't find it's probably been put away. The only time I go there is if I need to get the water I drink which is nirvana and I get four cases at a time as far as food shopping there I find that they don't even compare to the one in West Bridgewater. That's just been my experience going...
