This was my 5 star favorite every time pharmacy. Over the last 3 visits however I am now feeling the need to go somewhere else. Ever since the overnight pharmacist "Rick" left The pharmacy has become infuriating in the overnight. Rick retired, I miss Rick. The guy that is usually there now is at least understandable, but I went in there tonight and this blonde lady completely refused my legitimate prescription at her "personal discretion" Regardless of the 10 years worth of data they have on me in there little computer system. Now I may be blowing off steam but what's the point of having that system, as well as me filling out all the legitimate paperwork for prior authorizations and such if she can simply turn me away at her discretion. I'm sorry you're not a doctor, you don't get to tell me what's good for my heart and what's not, I visit a doctor every month to tell me my heart's just fine on this medication. And I go to file a legitimate complaint and all I get is a turn around where I can't do anything without her name. While I'm not gonna go in there and ask her for her name giving her the hint that I'm gonna make a complaint so she can make up a story and cover her ass. I've looked into this, what she just did was practiced medicine, but she is not a physician. Total bullcrap. Thanks CVS, you've lost a customer,...
Read moreThe pharmacy is normally very good. But today I called and the woman on the phone, who claimed she was the pharmacist, was absolutely abhorrent. I have a prescription there that was called in by my doctor and is not in stock. I asked when it would come in and I always told was it was ordered but they did not know when it would come in. I said, does that mean it could be a month? This is a Medication that my doctor called in yesterday because I’m pretty sick. I need the medication urgently. She said it could be a month, it could be never. I said, are you kidding me? That’s crazy. I asked if she was the pharmacist and she said yes. I said I am clearly sick and need this medication, and you’re telling me it may never come in?? She said correct. I was shocked at this reply and especially her tone. I said she was incredibly rude and she has to be sh*tting me that this medication that I needed may never come in (side note it couldn’t be transferred to another location). She then proceeded to raise her voice and start shouting at me. I’ve never had such horrible treatment at a CVS before period for a pharmacist. She should have more decorum and tact than to start yelling at customers. I doubt CVS corporate would want their pharmacists screaming at...
Read moreMy son’s doctor prescribed an antibiotic for him. It turned out he has allergic to this one, but it was Saturday night so he saw another physician. The new physician sent the prescription to another CVS in the same town. Since that one was closed, I went to this location which is 24/7. She couldn’t help me at all. She said because the other CVS didn’t enter the record of him, so it’s not there. That CVS had been closed at 6:00pm, so of course they couldn’t do that because the prescription was given at 7:30pm! She said if it was on her system, she could help me but now she can’t! If it was there, it was her responsibility to do her job, but I don’t understand how they can not get the order if the database is the same! Patient profile is there, Doctor order is there, and it is obvious that the patient hasn’t received his med, so how come they can’t help! Is the location primary key in their database or is the patient code! It is...
