Went with the three grandchildren to let them pick out a book each as a reward, and was delighted at both the eclecticism of the selections as well as the size of the children's and YA section.

YA and children's books are about 40% of the bookstore, and all your favorites are well represented here. This is a delight for young readers, and all three girls were able to find books they wanted on both visits.

They were running a summer reading promotion, and the girls signed up and "won" a small amount off our next purchase. They were way more incentivized to read with a prize waiting for them.

The adult section is small compared to a Barnes and Noble or the like, but well stocked with unusual and odd titles. For example, there's a whole "maps" section, which is something I've never seen outside of a large university library.

The Silver Unicorn Bookstore has friendly folks, great service and a good selection of books for all ages. While it's a small store and can't carry all books what they do have in stock generally provides an excellent choice.

I've been able to order a book through them and have it within one or two days. And they always have a great selection to browse and tempt you.

As an indie lover I was psyched to see this new bookstore open up in my neighborhood. The owners have done an amazing job of making the most of a small space. It's warm, it's inviting and I love the lineup of events. We attended the story hour last evening and went back home with smiles. It's not just for kids though. They have a well curated section of books for adults as well. In talking with the owner I learned that they're going to have the full inventory online as well . This will make it easier for out of town family and friends to buy books....
