We went here for dinner with a couple of friends (table of 4) on a Thursday - very cool vibe and décor. Overall, the restaurant has potential, but needs to up their game on timely service and menu execution to really impress. The menu (drinks and food) has some really cool ideas, but the execution fall short of excellent. The drinks are really complex with some being yummy, some blah, and one we tried was just not good (return to sender). We liked that they had the drinks grouped by general taste (light and refreshing to spirit forward) since the ingredients were generally unfamiliar so we didn't know what to expect. Worst offense on the drinks was that after ordering 4, it took a good 6-7 minutes for the first two to come out, then another 3-4 minutes for the next two. Of the five drinks we ordered, one was fantastic, two were good, one was boring, and the last just not good. We literally returned it to sender 80%full after all tasted it and agreed that rum doesn't go with Lychee. Oddly, they left it on the bill after we sent it back and declined another cocktail fearing it wouldn't arrive until we were leaving. Water for the table was brought, but not kept topped off (this appeared to be a theme across all the tables we could see). We had to ask more than once for more. Our server was very nice, but just didn't have the attentiveness that should be standard for a decent restaurant.
The food was also quite interesting and, thankfully, better overall than the cocktails. Only two gripes here, the brussells were quite salty and the duck leg was REALLY fried. A bit of a let down, but the eggplant and arctic char were both very tasty. The wines we ordered were delicious - Tempranillo and an Italian blend donnafugata. Excellent options. And the popover...just yummy.
We would love to see this place tighten up on the basics (timing and full water glasses) and do well. Its a great concept with an excellent relaxed vibe that should be a great place to...
Read moreSilver Girl is a shining star for upscale comfort food lovers. From the first bite to the last sip, everything about this restaurant feels thoughtfully crafted and welcoming. It’s the perfect balance of sophistication and comfort, making it ideal for both casual nights out and special occasions.
Let’s talk food—absolutely incredible. The popovers are a must-try: warm, flaky, and perfectly buttery, they set the tone for what’s to come. The gumbo is rich and hearty, full of deep, savory flavors that are pure comfort in a bowl. Another standout was the eggplant, which was unexpectedly delightful. It’s clear the chef puts as much care into the vegetables as they do the proteins—always a sign of a great kitchen.
The cocktail menu is equally impressive. The Wanderheart is a stunning, citrusy creation that’s both refreshing and complex, while the Espresso Martini is hands down one of the best I’ve had—smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Prices are spot-on for the quality and portions, and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for their guests. The cozy space feels intimate but lively, so I’d recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a table.

Read moreI had high hopes for the evening. My husband and I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. I have always loved New Orleans inspired food. Unfortunately we cut the evening short. We arrived at 7 for our reservation but had to wait a bit. That was OK but once we were seated with menus we were not visited by a server for 10 minutes. When she did finally arrive at our table, she commented we must be parched and would be back with water. She also took our drink reservation at that time and we did put in an order for an appetizer. Another 10 minutes later our app arrived but still no water or cocktails. I have never had apps arrive before drinks. We slowly ate our app but by 7:55 we still had no drinks. We knew the night was not going to get better. Very few people in the restaurant had meals in front of them. We left money plus tip for the app and left. To be fair, the server who I believe may also have been one of the owners came out to the parking lot and apologized. She said she just delivered our drinks to the table and asked us to come back inside and offered to comp us. We were so turned off by this point we thanked her but left anyway. It is too bad because I liked the atmosphere and the menu seemed promising but it was poorly staffed. Maybe they were having an off night, I don't know but I don't think we will be going back to find out. I hope they can get...
