Acton Seafood Company — Restaurant in Acton

My son loves the food here, so we've come a few times. He always gets the fish and chips, which he thoroughly enjoys. I got the clam chowder and coconut shrimp, which were very good. The food here is enjoyable, and the gentleman who took our order was courteous. We wanted to eat in the restaurant on a rainy day, and there's limited seating inside. Here's what got me: Two of the three good-sized tables to eat at inside were occupied by people who weren't eating food - there was one person sitting at one of them with a huge brief case and laptop on the table, possibly someone associated with the finances of the business, and at another table toward the back, there was some sort of business meeting happening among the owner or manager of the restaurant and some other people. I only know this because they were kind of loud in a very small space. This left us having our meal at a very small high table, with very little room to put all the food we had ordered. Not the comfortable, relaxing meal we were hoping for. With such limited seating, these tables should really be dedicated to guests patronizing the restaurant. The fact that this didn't occur to anyone working there...

Me & my family Was craving for seafood. Usually we get fried seafood in NH but we were too far from there so we stopped by this little seafood spot before heading back home since it was on the way. Placed an order online was fine. Going to pick it up, no one greeted us. As my husband was paying for the food, the girl at the cashier was giving him the up and down dirty looks. Not even a “ have a great evening”. Etc etc. Food wise, portion was so small and pricey. Coleslaw was also not Cole-slawing. It tasted very limey & chunks of cabbage pieces. Seafood is expensive but I’ve had way better and I Won’t be...

We went for lunch and agreed it would be a new favorite spot! If it wasn’t raining we would’ve loved to sit outside on the cute picnic area, but inside was nice too. We got the lobster roll & clam strips. Everything came out hot and fresh! The portions were big, too. I got fried pickles instead of French fries and those were delicious with the special dipping sauce. We look forward to going back and trying different things...
