Georgetown Jewelers — Local services in Addison Township

I have had 3 projects done with Georgetown Jewelers. First was having my Dad's diamond recut and having a new setting made into a ring. Not even realizing if it was going to be possible to use the diamond because the diamond had been chipped. Georgetown Jewelers explained in detail what could be done. I have worked with Liz the entire time. Liz and her expertise gave me a sense of security and trusted her judgment on what could be done with the diamond and she explained in detail. She worked with me on design and she was right on with the finished product. It was beyond my expectations. Second project was having a necklace made from my husband's ring and having a pendant made for my daughter for her wedding day. Again her ideas and finished product was stunning and my daughter loved it. The third project was redesigning my engagement ring, Liz worked with me on a design, I wanted the ring made into a pendant again the finished project was beyond my expectations. The quality and expertise of Georgetown Jewelers is impeccable. When you walk into Georgetown Jewelers the staff knows your name and greets you with and upbeat friendly manner as if you are family. I will be going to Georgetown Jewelers for years to come. Liz is my go to person and she goes above and beyond as all the staff seems to do with all their clients. A family acquaintance suggested I use Georgetown Jewelers when shopping for an engagement ring. Since I knew what I wanted, but didn't know how to make it happen, I was happy to look for advice through the store's staff.

I worked with Liz, and I have to say... She earned every one of the 5 stars I am giving. She was friendly and seemed to actually listen to all my stories about my future wife. She understood what I wanted, and knew the best ways to make it happen. She even helped make suggestions that I hadn't considered yet. The end result was a beautiful custom ring that perfectly represents the woman I gave it to. Throughout the process, Liz was great about keeping in touch and made sure my ring would be completed within the necessary timeline. Since it was a custom build, it could have taken up to 6 weeks to complete. Unfortunately, I wanted to propose before then. Have no fear, Liz was able to expedite the order and completed the ring nearly a week before I needed it. This made the process a lot less stressful, and gave me a memorable proposal story.

I know Liz doesn't act alone, and the rest of the staff must have been supporting us behind the scenes. Thank you, all, for all you've done! My fiance and I couldn't be happier. I believe I will be a Georgetown Jewelers customer...

UPDATE-a year after this post, they are still just as amazing as ever. We moved out of state and came into town for a week. My rings had not been serviced in 2 years so I figured there might be some repairs needed. They could have told me there were a multitude of repairs and I wouldn’t have thought twice, but as always they were honest and said it didn’t need anything other than the servicing I had dropped them off for…and on top of that they didn’t try to upsell me on anything. You always feel like family when you walk in the store, because they employ people that care. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

My now husband picked out my dream engagement and wedding ring with the help of Liz. I could not be happier with the beauty, quality and customer care we have received from the staff at Georgetown. I was blown away to receive an anniversary text from Liz this month. Just goes to show they care, long after the sale has been made.
