Was excited.They haven't all you can eat lunch. But who wants to eat it? Food was flavourless literally had zero flavor! So disappointing. I went in, they told me it was a buffet lunch. But there was no buffet set up and I said well, I'll come back in a little bit untill it's ready ! It's ready now. OK, where's the food? It's coming OK, start with sushi and salad. The sushi was terrible and there are only 2 choices! The salad was brown all over the lettuce. And then I was waiting and I said well, where's the rest of the food and they said oh, you have to order it okay.Why didn't you tell me that?Where's the menu! What's available?They gave me no menu.They didn't give you any direction! When I finally figured it out because nobody speaks english? They cook the food at 1 table and then bring it to you. So stupid! I ordered Fried Rice.The vegetables steak and golden shrimp.The fried rice tasted just like white rice seriously like ZERO flavor! THEY PUT NOTHING ON THE MEAT. THEY PUT NOTHING ON THE VEGETABLES. THEY LITERALLY JUST COOKED IT AND GAVE IT TO YOU WITH NOTHING. THEY DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME UTENSILS OR CHAPSTICKS. I HAD TO ASK FOR IT. And another thing.I'm sorry I'm going to a Japanese Restaurant I don't want mexicans cooking my dinner! If I did. I would go to a Mexican restaurant if that's what I wanted.They don't know how to cook japanese food! Just horrible!! Just horrible food! I consider benihana's the mcdonald's of japanese steakhouses! As for eating Sushi in the Wood Dale area, I would NOT recommend. Upon entering the store, the young host had a very interesting attitude when I inquired about the Lunch Buffet per their website... I was told that said special is only available on Thursday (Not advertised on the website). Besides that the stores format was odd, drastically behind compared to others, and had an odd old sponge smell lingering around.
From there I realized that dining in would not be the best option. I proceeded to support this local business and ordered a very simple roll to go. Throughout my tenure of eating sushi, I’ve pretty much always ordered a Philadelphia Roll. i.e. SMOKED Salmon, cream cheese, avocado or cucumber
Upon starting to eat my rolls, I immediately noticed the low quality. The roll was loosely packed, the salmon was cooked as opposed to being smoked (raw), the avocado was surprisingly fresh, the lettuce appears to have been very subpar, and lastly, the cream cheese… It appears it was chive and onion cream cheese spread…
All in all, I will never return to this facility and feel highly disappointed in my $30ish purchase for the rolls.

The star is for the chief, he was wonderful! Food was ok but for the price it should be better. Service was terrible, why to long to get a drink and she (waitress) was unfriendly. My biggest complaint...the bill, I used a groupon (which they were aware of before I sat down) and the bill was not adjusted. When I finally got the waitresses attention to correct it she came back with the revised bill and I noticed the price was still very similar? After getting her attention again I asked her to explain why the price wasn't adjusted, her response was, "it is adjusted but NOW they added gratuity". REALLY??? First of all it was just me and my husband, I don't even think it legal to force gratuity!!! It made me feel that because I used a coupon I'm cheap. In my younger days I was in this industry so trust me I know how to tip, and I am not cheap. I paid the bill and then went out of my way to find the chief we had and personally handed him $25. I will never step foot in this...
