Sweet Generation — Restaurant in Addison Township

I see so many great reviews about Paczki and not sure what’s the hype behind them. They look great and that’s about it. Most of them cost around $5. At the check out they tell you a different total then your bank statement shows. The Paczki dough is so oily that you can barely taste the filling. Dubai chocolate Paczki had very little filling which was not equivalent to the price. This review is not to discourage you from trying their Paczki but for the owners to fix few things. I pre-ordered Pączki for fat Thursday a week ago. When I picked them up they were already boxed. Their recipe appears to be authentic. Unfortunately, they were stale. At least a day old. Maybe two. And what they charge, $4.99 for each constitutes borderline theft. That's twice as much as most high end bakeries or Polish delis. Also what the total charge that was printed on my receipt, was not the same amount that was deducted from my debit card. They took more than what was charged. Shady business practices over there....

I ordered a birthday cake for my son. While ordering I was told that my price would be around $80. When I picked up my cake the price had changed to $97...nobody called me with that change and during a pick-up time, I was told that it was more expensive because of the amount of powder used for decoration... and $97 is my final price with tax.....my final price was $101.09...Even though the cake was delicious, I will never order...
