It was my second time ever visiting Hobby Lobby. I didn’t know they don’t take tap to pay since I don’t regularly go. I had a gift card and was excited to visit and get some art supplies. The woman at the counter (didn’t catch her name but Caucasian woman with long brown hair in a pony tail) rung me up. I had a small balance left over and luckily my sister had just checked out right in front of me so in less than a minute I grabbed the remaining balance from her to pay. The woman said “you need to remember we don’t have tap to pay, no Hobby Lobby does…” and I smiled and said okay! Thank you. Sorry. And then I started to walk away because I was catching the passive aggressiveness and felt uncomfortable. Then she said “your bag hun…” and rolled her eyes at me to the lady behind me shaking her head in a demeaning way.
