We walked in and described a battery issue with our jeep that we were looking to fix. The first man that addressed us immediately tried to sell us a $130 wrench set, after we already said we were on a road trip with limited room. In which case he recommended a smaller $80 set. We find out later they also sell 1 piece wrenches that can accommodate multiple sizes for $10 and would have been the appropriate suggestion to make.
My husband went out of the store to eyeball about what size wrench we needed. I stayed in the store to see if there was a single wrench option. That was when dear sweet Dylan approached and asked if I needed anything. I told him about the battery issue and asked if he would be willing to take a look so we don't make the wrong purchase. He took a look and prescribed a $4 part that would fix the issue. He grabbed the part, and put it on the battery for us. While doing so the store manager came out and seemingly scolded Dylan saying "we were trying to sell them a tool kit and you're out here with a hammer" and did nothing else to facilitate a positive situation. We went in and bought the part Dylan put on for us and our jeep has started up no problem ever since. Dylan hooked it up, with exactly what we needed. I could tell that as soon as we left, Dylan was probably getting "talked to" for helping us with what we needed to be safely back on the road, instead of trying to sell us an overpriced tool set that we'd be stranded with at our next stop.
Dylan, who cared enough to take a look at the issue, is why I'll be back to O'Reilly's, not the guy who was only interested in the upsell. Thanks so...

He claims to have all these parts under the counter so I told why would you keep my parts? I'm keeping the parts for which I paid. So, I have one wiperblade that might go on a different vehicle and another I cant transfer. He claims he won't charge me if I do get a different vehicle but make me wonder if he was charging other people for parts that had been purchased in another containers by other customers. ...
