Long term review of craftsmanship

Definitely repair failed. The screen is separating from the phone body. Guy told me they use new adhesive and gaskets Ohh well. Learned my lesson.

Edit here are some photos So instead of using the proper adhesive that comes with these phones from Google, this guy uses like a real tacky glue like e3000 or hot glue to seal your phone screen back on. You lose your waterproof rating at that. So if you accidentally take a dip, your phone is going to suffer. Also. It's so scammy. It's a dollar seal. Also, I had to refix all of the issues that this guy didn't so I bought an iFixit kit and I replaced the battery and screen out and turns out that the premium parts I paid for which ended up totaling almost close to 400 bucks. For the total bill, he used cheap Chinese knockoffs instead of actual Google parts for my pixel 6 XL and he didn't bother to replace the heatsinks and all of the screws were loose. This guy can't keep getting away with doing stuff like this. Don't take your phone here. Watch the video on YouTube and use an iFixit kit. Quit supporting...

I wasn't going to write a review because I usually only like writing about good service..I asked him how long would it take to repair a broken screen and he replied 30 min, I was like cool I got enough time because I actually had some where to be. I walked to Marshall's and came back in about 30 min and dude is praying..He didn't somehow equate his prayer time in to fixing my screen..Random people come up to talk to him while he is fixing my phone and this seems to distract him as he had to take my phone apart and put it back together at least 3 times..An older couple with obviously not a whole lot to do starts a random conversation..I give the lady a side eye as to say leave this dude alone because I really need him to finish my phone..He finally finished it 2 hours and some change later..Anywhoo you insisted that I write you an honest review so here it is..His demeanor was pleasant but I won't recommended him to anyone. He's still somehow better than the other options...

Very bad business practices. He said he wouldn't charge tax if I paid cash and then charges it after he has your phone. He gives you a small receipt from the cash register and then switches the prices once you come back without the receipt. Make sure you keep your receipt if he has to order something and you have to go back. I had to fight with him to get my $30 back after I showed him the receipt. He was still saying that's not what...
