Subway — Restaurant in Alamogordo

The girls behind the counter, particularly the blond girl, were trying very hard to do their jobs well. Seems management is neglecting their responsibilities by updating the marquee when they program the computers. They were very shorthanded, resulting in no time to clean tables (tho Coco sat down and looked at her phone as soon as another employee came in, I guess she was off)

This is unbelievable! So my wife and I ordered a number 4 on the menu. I got a footlong sandwich, priced on the menu at $10.85 I believe. It could have been a few cents one way or another. Menu says you can turn any sandwich into a salad for __$ more.There was no number on blank line. Anyhow my wife ordered a 6 inch, number 4 salad, as she has on several visits to Subway. We get to the register and she asks if they could chop up the meats and veggies that are in her bowl. The clerk says, “No we don’t do that anymore” Why not?, we ask. “Takes too much time I guess”, she says. So we pay and sit down and eat and I am thinking about the cost, so I get the ticket out and look and sure enough, they charged $12.49 for a footlong and $11.04 for a 6″ salad, which was price on the menu at $8.95, I think. I go ask the clerk why I did not get charged the price on the menu and she just shrugged and said the cash register says different. I did not want to make a fight, as I had already payed, but wanted others to be aware of this crime. Can you believe it cost $2.09 to put your condiments in a bowl and skip the bun? I am ashamed to say, I let myself be robbed like that. Right in plain sight! Subway #66132-0...

I'd like to start this review with the positive and highlight that my 3 star rating reflects the quality and price and NOT the customer service. I ordered a 6-in meatball sub with provolone and parm. The sandwich I received was definitely the small side of the bun, there were 4 small meatballs, the bottom was burnt and you could see a tiny bit of evidence that cheese was there, but it was burnt and not gooey as cheese should be. I called and spoke to a nice woman who offered to remake the sandwich for me and she did. She was very polite and apologized and she was training some new employees and when they asked her about the sandwich she said it was made correctly however they want to be sure to serve the customer so they will do whatever I want. I truly appreciate their customer service and the cleanliness of this restaurant. This meatball sub has been my favorite for the last 2 decades ish and this is the first time I have received such poor quality food. I told the woman who helped me that they must have change the specs because my last sandwich was not like this one and she just smiled and did not say anything. My disappointment is in the franchise/ownership/quality control as they seem to have reallocated the specs for their sandwiches. I will give them a couple more tries, however with the prices going up and the quality going down I may start making my own meatball sandwiches at home! To the crew, keep up the good work, I...

This was the worst subway I have ever been into. It was dirty, and the food was gross. The bread was hard in some spots and mushy in others it wasn't good, and the way it was put together wasn't any better,the girl just threw everything on it so the bacon is hanging out on the sides,then they were out of basically everything. I should have just turned around and walked out the minute I walked in and saw the water on the floor, but we had been on the road for hours and were hungry,I could have waited till I got home because I ended up just throwing half my food away because I just couldn't eat it. I tried, but the bread just seemed old, and I couldn't get over the smell in the restaurant,the bathrooms were just as gross. What I don't get is why the employees weren't trying to clean anything up,instead, they were on their phones. I have eaten at many subways, and you can tell when the bread is fresh because it will stay soft even after toasting it, and I've been to some where there were just two people working and it was cleanest place but this was just bad. This is where this review belongs, not the Ruidoso subway. If this place can pull it together,I will try eating there again, and this was a month ago we eat here, so I will give it a few more months or just pop in and see...
