G T Electronics — Local services in Alaska

GT Electronics was sent to my home to do some warranty work on a washing machine. First - when he called to set up an appointment with me - he couldn't stop explaining how he is a one man operation servicing a 400 mile radius and he doesnt have much time available. Then - when he arrived at my home - he didnt even take a moment to introduce himself. He goes into my garage to check the machine - pushes the start button and it turns on and goes through a rinse and spin - so according to him and his 2 minute evaluation of my machine - it was just frozen and there was nothing wrong. He goes on to berate my purchase of that model of washing machine - apparently it wasn't high-end enough for him. He also made comment about the construction of my home. Terribly rude and inconsiderate. I will NEVER use them or recommend...

Was wrongfully charged by a scam artist who came to my house for five minutes and told me my fridge couldn't be fixed. Then he was to lazy to actually put the order in with Fridge air and after months of not having a working refrigerator and going back and fourth with him being to lazy to call me back or do anything. I contacted fridge air turns out he isn’t qualified to work on these things and they sent another tech who knew what they were doing and didn’t charge me money. So basically this man is a con a scam artist who will take your money after coming in your house and breathing heavily. Literally did absolutely nothing and then charged me money when it should have gone under warranty....

I have used G T Electronics 3 or 4 times already, through a 3rd party (Home Depot Warranty Department). Have my dryer fixed in a timely manner. From what I understood, G T E is a one man show and covers several different store warranty departments, and the 3rd party department dont communicate this info to their customers, in my case, I was told that the appt HomeDepot made for me was set in stone, not that G T Electronics will be calling to set up the appt, (which is not his fault, obviously). Would definitely recommend this guy to everyone, does great and...
