Common Grounds Espresso — Restaurant in Alaska

I waited a long time to post a review of this place. They don’t know how to properly make coffee drinks nor hot chocolates. We gave this place a handful of tries over an entire year to get it right because it is so close to my home. Every time we went we got a different barista and every time it gets worse. PLEASE properly train your employees on how to make all the drinks .. PLEASE buy higher quality coffee and ingredients. I will never be returning.

By the way .. coffee lovers in Anchorage .. if there is a Kaladi Brothers emblem located somewhere on the outside of one of these NUMEROUS drive thru coffee joints around Anchorage .. you are getting higher quality coffee that tastes significantly better. I’ve had many amazing experiences coming to common ground espresso on Northern lights ! The baristas are always so sweet and willing to help me pick out an amazing drink for such an indecisive person.. love going there! Charisma was the first barista I met there who introduced me to cold foam, Violet was so vibrant and helpful. The sweetest person ever! Suparat helped me figure out a sweet yet healthier drink then I normally get!!! Sherina had outstanding service and made some amazing drinks. This is one of favorite coffee spots. I went there recently and waited in line for 15 mintues. The staff inside the coffee hut was slow, dragging thier feet when they had a 2 cars on one side and 3 on the other side. It was a car that was there when I pulled up and they was there hella long before I was able to move up to second place in line from being in third on my side.
