I've been a customer of aarons for 9 yrs & i've never had a problem with them till this last time. My husband and me purchased a laptop through them last year and always have are payments on time. We were close to are last four payments and the disc drive stop working, so we brought it to them for repair. They send it to HP to be repaired. We r now down to are last payment and still have no laptop or even updates about it. They have been saying they will call me for about 2 weeks off and on. I have spoke with them a few times and they say they dont really no what's going on with that and that ill have to talk to there manager who's never there when we have tried to reach out to her she also never returns are calls. I herd on a call they lost the paperwork but havent herd anything since when i ask they don't no what to tell me. So im pretty frustrated to say the least. I've been paying on a laptop for two months that i cant even use and was offered no loaner computer and about to pay my last payment and i dont even have the laptop in hand.
Update! Iâd like to start with the fact that I have been a loyal customer for 9 years (working on 10). Iâve always made my payments on time and have never complained. That being said this last experience Iâve had with Aarons has been unacceptable. I purchased a laptop from them and was pleased with it, until the disk drive broke. This is when my hassle began, I dropped it off to have it repaired and was quoted 2 weeks. I was offered no device to use in the meantime which to say the least is unpleasant⌠but whatever. 2 weeks became 3 then 4. I called in multiple times to be told that it was out for repair only to find out they never sent it for repairs because it was out of warranty with HP. I understand that there was a change of management and that caused an extra week of trying to get this mess in line and I accept that, however upon finally getting to speak to the new manager I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.
Upon arriving my husband and I were left to wait for 15 minutes in the lobby with no greeting or explanation. Afterward we were brought into the office to get our replacement device and finally told they left it collect dust in the back (It was the last managers fault⌠of course). The device was in worse condition cosmetically then the one we turned in(ours had some slight scuffs the replacement has large cuts in the backside of the monitor), but I took it. We all know the devices are ârecertifiedâ and thatâs ok, as long as it was as strong as the last one. I told her we had one payment left and was worried that the device would die on me, no extension was given or extended services. The response we got was âOh you got a month before your last payment your fine and on the off chance this one doesnât work Iâll try to find you anotherâ. We were hurried outside the store without a chance to really try out the computer.
When we get home I had my husband take a look at the computer to make sure It was a good working device. He opened it up and within 5 minutes he showed me a massive issues with the computer. It was bogged down and freezing, unable to load more than one webpage at a time. He showed me the stats of the PC and that it was slightly weaker than our original device and stayed at 98-99% of its COMP power being used. We reported this to the manager two weeks ago and she stated âOh no you only have a month left, Iâll try to find anotherâ. We have heard nothing since then and are about to be stuck with a device that doesnât work, when we originally had one that did function, we just couldnât use the disk drive. If we were to be treated fairly I wouldnât write this review⌠Iâd write a good one. Iâve been with Aaronâs for years now and hate that my time with them has been sullied by such lack of regard for customers time and experience. I would not suggest going to Aaronâs anymore, after these events I cannot do so in good faith.

Read moreThis is HANDS down the worst customer service experience I have ever had! When I first entered the store, everything was great! Miley is knowledgable and very helpful! Rylee was very friendly and the GM Jenifer was also very friendly. The problems arose with the delivery of the E BIKE that I purchased. The delivery itself went smoothly, taking all of 5 minutes, except for the fact that they were an hour late. Upon entering my home to tighten the brakes before taking the bike out for an initial ride, it became evident to me that the gear shifter was completely shot. I also became aware of the fact that I was not given a key to access the battery. My initial phone call to the store yielded much pushback, with Rylee suggesting that I had the key and just didn't see it. They eventually found the key, and I was informed that they would bring me the key and check and see if they had a spare shifter at their store. While waiting to receive the key and new part, I proceeded to hammer on the shifter because I still wanted to ride my new bike!!! Well, lo and behold, it doesn't work!!! No peddle assist, throttle, anything. Just some lights and a regular old bike. I called the store again and was informed it would take several weeks to receive a new bike, and they could not guarantee me the same model. As of typing this, I am still waiting for my key because the driver brought the wrong one on his initial return trip! A delivery that should've ended at 6pm PST is still continuing at 8pm PST, with no end in sight and no help from anyone on their end. Avoid this place simply for your peace of mind.
EDIT After looking over the reviews on Google, DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE.
EDIT 2 The store is now closed, but before they closed I was informed they COULD NOT find my key and will let me...
Read moreWe previously purchased (special order) a Samsung washer and dryer at Home Depot. When we got it we hated it and couldn't return it. After a couple years of use (and still hating it) we decided to get a new one. We came to Aaron's to learn about their leasing with the option to buy (same as cash) plan. Even though we had a bad experience with Samsung we decided to get another one and rent to buy with Aaron's. Deliver was on time and my wife was happy. After using it for a few weeks we realized we got the wrong machine. The washer was too deep (5.0 cubic feet) for kids to reach and I had to get on my tip toes (I'm short) to get the socks stuck to the bottom lol. There were a couple other things we loved but didn't love all the same regarding these machines. They're perfect for some I'm sure just not us. The point is Aaron's made it as easy as returning a redbox movie except we didn't have to leave the house. We told them we wanted to return it and they said no problem. They didn't have what we wanted in stock so they ordered it for us. They reduced our monthly payment to a 1/2 payment on current machine since we were due for a full payment and our new set came in a few days later. Brandy was the lady that helped us. I think she was new to this location but didn't seem new to Aaron's. She new her stuff right down to features we didn't even know were on the machine we ordered. Great experience hands down. This shopping experience and our last shopping experience changed our perception of rental stores all...
