
EDIT: The billing issues I had with Physiq were completely resolved and I had almost an immediate response from the company. We had a conversation about how the issue came up, how it will be resolved, and they even threw in some free smoothies for us. I am really glad that everything worked out, because I truly do enjoy going to this gym and have never had anything other than great experiences here. I mentioned in my post previously that I love their daycare staff and how everyone who works there is friendly, so my kids also really look forward to going to the gym as well. We will definitely continue going and I hope anyone else who has had any issues can also communicate with their team and work it out the way we have. I really appreciate the quick response from Physiq - thank you again

Me and my kids have loved coming to Physiq weekly. It’s a nice gym overall, however I’m a single mom of two kids and I joined Physiq during their $10 monthly sign up deal. I am obviously aware this was going to go up in price after their initial sale and with daycare added in, but I wasn’t expecting them to charge me twice their annual amount every month. They charge 49.99 annually (not bad in my opinion) however they have been charging me 42.99 twice and even three times a month at times. It’s insane.i have seen multiple reviews on google, Reddit, etc.where people are having the same issue. I am going to do all I can from my side to get my money back, but in researching this issue it seems that people are having issues with Physiq being unwilling to accommodate them in any way or return their money. …..that really is too bad because I truly did enjoy going here. Just wish there were some more professional behavior on their end to resolve this issue. I wanted to also clarify that at first I thought the excess charging was due to the daycare, but I did not go to the gym at all in July (I know….i was camping) and they still charged me twice. Because of this I can clearly see it’s not due to the daycare system or due to how many times I attend. I called their customer care number since I’ve read lots of reviews and Reddit threads claiming that calling the front desk gets you no where, but calling the customer care line seems to also get you nowhere…. I’ve sent an email and I’ve contacted my bank. Luckily my bank was able to help me start the dispute process and I’ll be looking to resolve this by canceling my membership (unfortunately) and starting up a membership and another gym that offers child care. I wish there was some more options here because I do like this gym and have had only good experiences here ESPECIALLY with the daycare staff (they are amazing) however I can’t afford to be charged three times the annual cost per month and shouldn’t have to jump through this many hoops to...
Read moreMy credit card was compromised and replaced. Because of this, the automatic payments for membership were not processed by the gym for many months. Late penalties were imposed and the situation was sent to an attorney for collections. I was never once contacted by the gym about the problem so I could have immediately made payment and updated the card in their system. I went to the gym and after a conversation with the person at the desk and manager, they thankfully removed the late fees and promised to send an email that day to the attorney and me saying it was resolved. Today (the next day) I got a phone message from the attorney still trying to collect the original amount with the fees. I talked to the manager and was assured that everything would be taken care of and that an email had been sent yesterday. I called the attorney and the original debt was still owed. They said they don't receive emails. I tried to call the gym and it was impossible to leave a message or talk to someone. So, I drove back to the gym again and talked to the manager for the third time. She said I should get a confirmation of payment from the lawyer in a day or so. I asked for a number to call her as the manager and she said there was none.
The manager and desk person have been very polite and patient with my being increasingly upset at the whole situation. Many of the issues are beyond their responsibility. But, the problems definitely reflect poorly on the overall business and communications to members, other than one-on-one in the gym.
I am not writing this to criticize the individual people at the gym at all. They have been very kind. I am writing this so that perhaps the owner can see some overall things that can be addressed, and so that other members can know what to expect if in the same situation. Perhaps they will find better ways to get through it.

Read moreI will give you a real review from real experiences. Okay so here are the pros of this facility. Its clean and well maintained. Their equipment is new and up to date and their movie room, and rest room are awesome! Here are the cons Their memberships are expensive and you will be charged even if they arent open. There is no switching plans if things like losing your job made it hard to pay 30$ a month. If you cancel its 80$. I've spoken to the manager and he is actually really nice and good at responding. However everyone at the front is full of arrogance and attitude. All their staff except one person is white. They all look and sound the same and have that aura of arrogance . All the girls are around 120 and blonde or brunette. Which isnt really good being that they all look the same and arent an accurate representation of the clientele. They love talking smack and worst of all they fat shame you. My friend is a bigger girl and was working out and she was wearing a sleeveless excersize shirt and they proceeded to tell her that her appearance was unacceptable and to change. Then the girls would laugh and say things to eachother under their breath. I just called to ask a question and the girl who answered the phone made sure to make me feel bad for the question I asked. She had a really "becky" sounding voice and attitude. I hate people who look down on others and I can assure you the staff here does. The only decent person is the manager and that sucks.
