Ohhhh where do I start, this place was my go to and James was the best. About a year ago I moved from the area and started going to another salon in the area. I just happened to be in the area and decided to go see James and get my nails slayed, š I walked into the shop seeing a younger lady in James chair. A lady comes to me and ask me what I needed. A full set and pedi please. She guides me to the chair for my pedi and something seemed off, I asked where James? The told me heās not here anymore, come to find out he and his wife sold the shop and moved to Minnesota about 6 months ago. In that moment I felt saddened and decided to try the ladies there, they were nice and the lady who did my feet was nice and pedi was good.
Next was full set time, the nail tech was young and nice, and mention she been doing nails for 2 years. This should have been my warning. As she put on my tips I noticed they werent laid right and seem to be glued wrong, and my shape was uneven. I tried to tell her to just stop and take the tips off and I didnāt want to do my nails, she assure me that she would fix it. We proceeded. During this time I had so many memories Iāve had in this salon, how many laughs I shared in that shop, how it was my go to to feel and look better, and how Iāll miss the prior owners ā¤ļø
Nail techs there now have came from Carlyle Walmart salon that was closed and a few from other salons. Definitely gonna miss James, he could lay and shape...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy manicure and pedicure.were not good dead skin and gel polish was peeling. Over priced and I was charged 10,00 for using my card. Went back to get nails fixed and I was upset everyone could hear me complaining a customer having a pedicure comes up and offers to pay for me for what. This was clearly none of her business. I told her to mind her own business. I DONT NEED YOUR MONEYā¦THE WORKERS WERE TALKING AND I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHICH IS SO RUDEā¦THESE NAIL PLACES CONSPIRE WITH EACH OTHER and Speak no English. Their services need to be posted for all customers . And you canāt pick and choose who gets a good job done and who doesnāt. Do not go to this place. I refuse to get my nails done by people who do not speak English. I tried other nail salons operated by people who do not speak English. Yet want us to pay their over priced prices. Do not go to prestige they have no good service and pick and choose who they want. If you want to live in America learn the language and get legal papers which allow you to open a business. I believe they need to be checked for violations. I put a star. But they deserve 0 stars. Wouldnāt post...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnder new management. My daughter and I had an appointment on a Saturday at 3:30. We showed up right on time, I got a pedicure and my daughter got a new set acrylic manicure. I wasnāt offered a selection of pedicure types so they gave me the basic. I was done within about 45 minutes and I sat with my daughter. The nail tech looked as though she was struggling to complete the new acrylic set and another woman came and took over the job. It was 6:23 PM by the time we left, and my daughter was in pain because of all the filing and numerous drilling they did to her nails. She had a burning sensation under her nails that stayed bothering her throughout the night. Mind you my basic pedicure was $65 and they charged my daughter $80. Way too expensive for the type of service we received. In my mind, I am thinking the people who bought out this nail salon arenāt very experienced. We will not be getting services at this...
