When one thinks about Donuts - - - Krispy Kreme is in a league all of its own. From the moment that Krispy Kreme Donuts first came to Rio Rancho, New Mexico nothing about donuts has been the same. Whether you enjoy an original glazed, chocolate glaze, filled or cake donut smiles follow that white box with its delicious sweetness. The location at Wyoming is centrally located in the Northeast heights. The staff are patient and go the extra mile when giving you information about your donut selections. Regardless of where you get your Donuts from, one thing is for sure, you won't be losing any of the Covid 15 with such tasty treats. Due to the availability of donuts, customer service, cleanliness of the location and taste of their product, I am giving this location the highest rating for this visit. If you found this review helpful or informative, please like it. Or follow me for other local reviews. Thank you in advance. History: Vernon Rudolph bought a secret yeast raised doughnut recipe from a New Orleans French chef, rented a building in what is now historic Old Salem in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and began selling its Krispy Kreme doughnuts on July 13, 1937 to local grocery stores. The delicious scents of cooking doughnuts drifted into the streets, and passersby stopped to ask if they could buy hot doughnuts. So he cut a hole in an outside wall and started selling Original Glazed doughnuts directly to customers on the sidewalk. In 1982, a small group of our early franchisees bought Krispy Kreme back from Beatrice Foods. A renewed focus on the hot doughnut experience became a priority for the company. They began to expand outside the southeast US and opened its first store in New York City in 1996. Soon afterward, in 1999, the first store in California opened and national expansion was well underway. When Krispy Kreme turned 60 years old in 1997, it was officially recognized as the 20th century American icon with a donation of company artifacts to the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History. Spent $30.00 for 2 dozen original glazed doughnuts today & when I asked why they didn't have any blueberry cake or chocolate cake doughnuts anymore, I was told "we don't make the doughnuts from scratch, we only receive what comes from the factory and the factory isn't making those doughnuts anymore." Whoever is making the decisions regarding the types of doughnuts that are being offered needs to know that not everyone likes raised doughnuts and if a consumer is going to pay $15.00 for a dozen doughnuts, there are better choices in the Albuquerque market like Glazed Grinders, Amy's Donuts, or even Dunkin Donuts. These large companies need to realize that now, more than ever, they should do their best to retain their customers, and for what's it worth, this consumer will never purchase Krispy Kreme doughnuts again. Not many options. No Easter minis. Came to look for mini donuts for the kids, there were only original glazed option around noon on Saturday when I went. Cake donuts option only had blueberry. Staff were friendly. Store was clean. Just not many varieties.

Wow, Sticker Shock on One Dozen Variety Doughnut's! I just went here about 5 Days ago after first calling to verify & see if this Krispy Kreme Shop had the well wanted & very popular Glazed Chocolate Cake Doughnut's in stock. No body at this Krispy Kreme Location would answer the Phone & I was immediately redirected to a Voicemail System instead of true Customer Service on the Phone. I decided to go ahead & Drive over to check on this one & only specific Doughnut Flavor that I eat & will purchase from Krispy Kreme as for I did for Years up until lately, as for this Krispy Kreme location as well as the other NM Locations are no longer making or selling the Glazed Chocolate Cake Doughnut's which is a total bummer for those of us including me who really enjoyed & went to Krispy Kreme specifically for the Glazed Chocolate Cake Doughnut's. When I drove up & got here, there were no other Customer's at this Krispy Kreme Location. Therefore, there is no real excuse or reason not to be answering Customer Phone Calls like mine!

While I was here, I went ahead & purchased a Dozen variety Doughnut's for my Mom, Father & young Nephew upon their request excluding, the no longer carried or sold Glazed Chocolate Cake Doughnut's that I specifically went in to buy. When the Cashier rang me up for them my total came out to over $17.00. The last time my Family purchased Doughnut's here a Dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnut's cost at or around $12 to $13 Dollars. Now I understand & know why there was nobody else at or visiting this Krispy Kreme Location? It's called scary Sticker Shock on One Dozen Doughnut's that even I was not aware of until this Day that I was purchasing One Dozen Variety Doughnut's for my small Family!

Therefore, I am now totally done with supporting Krispy Kreme Doughnut's & will be boycotting them due to the new high Sticker Shock as well as, no longer being able to find or buy my one & only favorite Krispy Kreme Doughnut that I purchased for Years from them being the Glazed Chocolate Cake Doughnut that seems to be discontinued & no...

I Totally Can't UNDERSTAND that KRISPY KREME IS OUT OF GLAZED DONUTS??? WOW!! So she said come back at 1:30 p.m and they will have some. So I called the KRISPY KREME that supplies them with Donuts and they told me that they dropped them off at the Wyoming Location, So I Called the Wyoming Location and they said that they DIDN'T get any Glazed Donuts in yet?
