If you are vegetarian/vegan, please request them to use vegan broth for your pho. They automatically put beef broth in it (although I think this is typical of most Vietnamese restaurants). Besides that throwing me off a little bit, everything else about the vegetarian pho was great. All the vegetables were extremely fresh as well as the herbs, which added a beautiful dimension of flavor. And the vegan broth was very rich and flavorful. Also, the interior is nice and clean even though it looks a little sketchy on the outside at first. Lastly, the waitress was very informative and even offered my a bottle of water while I waited for my food to be ready (I ordered it to go). The price came out to a little more than I expected ($40 for two pho bowls and two appetizers) but it was worth it, because it was definitely some of the best food I've...
Read moreThis place seriously has THE BEST Vietnamese cuisine in the whole city if you ask me. I like to order the shrimp spring rolls. One order comes with two rolls. They always come out so fresh and taste like they were JUST MADE, rather than prepped days a head of time and stored in a fridge, like a lot of the other spring rolls I’ve had around town.
For my entree I like to get the Bun bo hue. (Spicy rice noodle soup) and I order it with the pho noodles, instead of the thicker noodles it comes with by default. The broth is SO GOOD. And the meat in the soup is cooked perfectly, and there’s always the perfect amount of meat in there!
Mistie is always my server and she is knowledgeable about the menu and is always in a great mood and passes that onto her customers! It’s always a pleasure to enjoy a meal in this...
Read moreService was wonderful and the food is not bad. I got shrimp spring rolls, Thai tea and a vermicelli grilled chicken bowl. The spring roll only had shredded lettuce, bean sprouts, noodles and shrimp. I would have loved some mint but a lot of places haven't been offering it since covid... not sure exactly why. The noodle bowl was noodles, a little bit of shredded lettuce, some cucumber, bean sprouts and a weeee bit of pickled carrot/daikon radish. The fish sauce smelt very stinky but didn't have a lot of flavor. Usually, these bowls come with mint and a good amount of lettuce, cucumber, carrot, bean sprouts, daikon and peanuts. The chicken was alright too, but in general, it left a lot to be desired. The Thai tea was great. The waitress was extremely nice and efficient. Five stars of it was just...
