I do not ike to leave negative feedback; however, I am grossed out by this lack of cleanliness of this Chick-fil-A --especially during covid. I have never felt that I needed a shower after exiting a Chick-fil-A, but that is exactly how I felt after leaving this location. While traveling through New Mexico the thought of a friendly customer service, clean restrooms, and dining experience with hot food was short lived.
The dining room had maybe six patrons, and it looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Tables were dirty, floors were riddled with food, trash, and dirt. The automatic trashcan was full (red light indicates full). Several patrons after me also tried to throw trash away, but walked out with their trash still in their hands. There were boxes sitting on the counters, and empty napkin dispensers.
The delivery bags were shoved in the corner by the community table. Speaking of the community table --it was so thick with grime that it would take a scrub brush and some elbow grease to get it clean. A quick spray and once wipe down, will not do the trick. The restrooms were equally as disgusting. Toilets, sink, and floors have not been cleaned in awhile. Thank goodness it was a push up door without having to touch a door handle.
There were several employees standing around chatting when they easily could have been cleaning or making an attempt to clean. At least the employees were friendly and gave the traditional "My pleasure." Unfortunately, the experience wasn't pleasurable.
The most comical part of this location is that they appear to "care" about your "health and safety" by requiing a mask must be worn to enter the store due to covid. Seriously, that would be the least of my worries after seeing how nasty they kept the dining facilities. I cannot imagine what the back of house looks like if this is how they keep the front of house.
Extremely disappointed and hold all Chick-fil-A locations to higher standards. Attached are a few photos from our experience...
Read moreAs a former employee at Chick-Fil-A, I 100% agree with the negative reviews. I am not trying to start something with this location. I understand all of the complaints. Sometimes I remember how we would have to close down a lane and only use one lane for orders. I did not enjoy that they would put us outside with no awning or fans. We were/are very understaffed and all of the old managers left or got fired. This location does get the shorter end of the stick though. The owner doesn't take care of this location as much as he does with the one on San Pedro. We constantly run out of condiments or menu items. I apologize on behalf of the other employees' attitudes. I do not recommend going here though. Sometimes they will only have one person outside taking orders for both lanes. I remember the headsets being broken to the point that we only had one left. So whoever was on the headset had to take orders from both lanes. I hope management will figure their stuff out. Obviously, it's not working the way they do it. I remember one of the employees asking to switch their schedule so that they can work in the morning and the boss told them that "they aren't hiring for morning shifts". Which was a load of bull because I remember seeing so many shifts available in the morning. They need to treat their employees with respect. Also, there were a lot of different health code violations when I was there. Anyways, just don't go there if you do not want to deal with: menu item shortages, long wait times, about 5 people on shift, 1-2 managers on duty, dirty tables, food that comes...
Read moreI’ve never been to a fast food place that prides themselves on being nice and professional being the complete opposite. This location is by far the worst. You can tell no one working there has a clue, it’s constantly dirty, they ignore people in the lobby, 10+ employees walk by and look at you while you’re clearly waiting for a refill or to simply order. The management clearly lacks in all areas and the staff follows suit. They also treat delivery drivers like absolute garbage. I watched several get ignored and the employees are very very rude. It’s really sad, I won’t be back and I’m not the only one with complains. I read the reviews and yikes… Canes is way better and in the same shopping center. Friendly and the chicken is delicious. The only thing I’ll miss from y’all is the sauce. Even that isn’t normal and the color is off and it’s old. Since the pandemic hit I guess everyone just collects a paycheck and quit caring. It’s so sad. I would work on these issues or people will simply quit coming. Elephant bar closed for these same issues. Poor management, food is garbage, rude employees, dirty restaurant. Customers matter and we keep you in business. As an owner I would be embarrassed to have a group of several employees that lack integrity, but then again I’ve noticed owners quit caring too. That’s okay, thank god there’s...
