I agreed with low score and what people say. Purchased a $600 ac only to be yelled because. they were only accepting cash I went to near ATM and got the cash,they also said no check. Got money and went to counter to pay for it. The cashier by the name Jeff started picking the money before I finished couting out it out, I told her (Jeff) don't pick the before I finish counting it out. She got angry startled yelling and very rude, over the top everyone in the store could hear her. I made a complaint to the cooperate office. They said they would take appropriate action. I've been going there for 30 years, yes the other customers that have made similar reviews of rudeness and poor service are saying the truth. It's a hostel environment for most parts. I not saying all employees are hustle I must say. If I were the owner I would fire anyone talking to customers in that manner. I have 12 unit apartment and have not been back (I go home depot) although it's a futher, I have no problems with returns...

I've always shopped here as much as possible because they are in my neighborhood and I want to support local businesses. I don't mind paying a little more to shop here. And it's nice of them to try to make shopping more safe for us in these times.

But the store manager was at the cash register today, was in a horrible mood and made me uncomfortable. He got mad at me because I wanted to insert my credit card to the machine, instead of him. He is touching the cash and credit/debit cards of hundreds of customers (it's busy today, everyone buying swamp cooler materials), so I didn't want him to touch my card. I told him I have sick family members at home. His response? We're all gonna get the virus.

I'd rather go to Home Depot where I know I can check out on my own, or at least deal with cashiers who let you swipe...

I went to Sammons yesterday, due to another store unable to help me, because my project was a plumbing matter. The girls at the counter were down to earth and not judgemental at all as I explained my ideas. An employee named Rudy was absolutely helpful! He showed me what would work with what and he even helped me save $$ by picking out the right stuff. He even put my pieces together and when I got home, I did what he recommended to me and everything worked PERFECTLY! I hope to go to Sammonsd again to get help with my next project, because they are so knowledgeable & comfortable to be around....
