I walked in the door and asked a worker there if he had any crimping beads, to which he only replied ā€œyeahā€. I then had to ask him where they were and he told me they were behind the counter and proceeded to organize beads. After that, a customer walked in and he condescendingly told her that she was looking at premade jewelry and that the rest of the store was for making jewelry. The whole store was caked in a layer of dust and the front counter was so crowded that I couldn’t set down my tray of items… and also there was a customer service fee. There were a lot of neat items for sale and I don’t expect an employee to be superficially nice, but talking down on others is never a good option… Also, I have no clue how my items were priced based off of the receipt.

Ok, I bought about $68 worth of stones, seed beads, small bears, other copper-toned earrings & what I thought to be beautiful purple stones w/"silver lined"... well the purple stones were very sticky/tacky, so I washed them & they felt a lot better. As I'm working w/them into a necklace I noticed the outer purple color is peeling off!! I am so disappointed & feel like I got ripped off. I mentioned to the store owner about painted beads I've seen at other bead stores, he reassured me that I didn't purchase any. Pictures says it allšŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø Nice store owner but I got scammed by cheap overpriced beads!!

In Albuquerque on vacation. Wanted to find rock shops & this one did not disappoint! I have been a Rockhound for about 10 years. There is a huge selection: beads, cabochons, milagros/charms, finished pieces, tons of jewelry & interesting pieces from all over the world. Robert is a great guy, very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Liked this shop so much, we went back for more on a second day! My favorite one in Albuquerque! šŸ˜„

I visited this shop hoping to find an answer to a jewelry making question and to search for supplies. I was not acknowledged at all when I entered, despite offering a friendly greeting. I walked up to the counter to speak to whom I'm assuming is the owner (because I don't know an employer in their right mind who would keep someone this rude on their team) and told him I had a question. He was obviously annoyed, unhelpful, and told me "looks like you're on your own" and offered nothing further. I considered buying from here regardless then remembered he was rude to me last time I was in years ago and decided to not patronize this business after all. I've been in the customer service industry for over 10 years and his attitude is absolutely unacceptable anywhere. Treat your customers with more...
