I feel like I might have come on just a bad night. The food was pretty good. Standard for a kbbq place. Everything on the menu was somewhat pricey. My and my boyfriend easily spent over 100 bucks on 2 meals and 1 NA drink and a shot. Almost 50 per person and the amount of sides we were given for 2 people?. For that much money im expecting more or even bigger sides. The menu had alot of options. But I wasnt impressed with the service. The server ignored us for the first 20 minutes and it wasnt even busy. I'm a server myself and it shouldn't take that long to greet your table. I feel like I just came during a bad time because online I saw people raving about this place etc but I didnt feel welcomed at all and felt rushed to hurry and check out so they could clean the table. The only upside was how late they actually are open for which is nice since most places close early nowadays. I would give it another shot one day and try my luck but for right now not impressed.

Update: I decided to give it another shot 2 hours before closing and they said they arent doing the KBBQ. Im like okay lets just get on the wait and try the other dishes this time. Then another couple that came in after us were allowed to get in line for the KBBQ? Either they pick and choose who goes and who doesnt but I was rightfully mad and walked out. I was really excited. They should have the hours posted of when they stop using the grills atleast because everytime I dine it its either a 50/50 chance it's closed...

We have tried many times to like this place, have even taken friends there. We love Korean food and have eaten it all over the world - even in Korea. But the owners of Korean BBQ House seem to know nothing about hospitality in general and know very little about how traditional Korean BBQ is served. They charge extra for things that are usually brought to your table with the ban chan - a few leaves of lettuce, cloves of garlic and sliced peppers. They don’t serve any condiments like ssamjang or sesame oil, salt, pepper. And if you ask for these things, they may bring them, if they have them, but then charge you without telling you and you don’t find out until the bill comes. The staff has often been surly and bossy and said things like “I don’t make the rules” once when we asked nicely about being charged $4+ for a few lettuce leaves. Finally, they do things like vacuum in your section and put chairs up in tables at the tables next to you, while you are still sitting there eating, maybe it was close to closing time, but still during open hours. There are other sad things that have happened over the 4-5 times we have gone. It’s a pretty restaurant and the food is good. It would be worth the price. But the vibe is just so lousy, cheap and mean spirited that we won’t...

I’ve been here before and had a good experience but this time was pretty bad.

Our server was the girl with a bleached streak on her hair. When she asked us for drinks to get started, she wouldn’t even look at me. It didn’t feel like she wanted to be doing her job.

I ordered spicy pork. My friend got spicy chicken wings but mistakenly said spicy chicken first before I corrected him. The server got that correction but must’ve not been paying attention enough because, while my friend got his wings, I got spicy chicken instead. I didn’t finish eating it, I just asked for a box. She asked if I didn’t like it. I didn’t send it back because I felt bad, I thought maybe she was having a rough day. I didn’t want her to get in trouble. But then the check took too long. We had to get up and walk to her with our card because we just wanted to leave. When we were approaching her, both she and her coworker were on their phones. The other was sitting where customers would wait by the door. When we saw them, they just played it off and got up to do work.

I used to really like this place and I was so excited for the spicy pork. This was a bit...

In my visit to Albuquerque I was craving some Tteokbokki, so I looked for every Korean restaurant I can find, well I went to The Korean BBQ House, thinking I will be able to get some Korean food classics, well I was wrong. The service, was alright nothing special I got almost no help with the menu, it was confusing cause they have a Japanese menu section, a sushi section, Korean and Korean BBQ, and cause I was by my self I guess I didn’t qualify to be on the grill tables, (I don’t know why, I would pay more if it need it) anyways. The food, it was really good I wish I could’ve some Tteokbokki but I made peace with my self and I got some Japanese food instead, the shrimp tempura was really good, I like the fact they gave me miso soup to start with, my main dish was the Tonkatsu and it was delicious and the curry was the best part of it. I was glad that they have kimchi. Well, if you want some good Japanese food, go to the Korean BBQ house they got you there.

It was as perfect as it can go. Food came out swiftly and our waitress was an angel. I don't think I ever once had an empty water, but if I did, it was immediately filled. Any questions or concerns and she was there to help/explain. I went on a Wednesday for the BBQ and there was no wait. I think for the service and amount of food the price was easily justified. The meal came included with 6 sides, I can't quite name them all but all were delicious. The kimchi was delicious! As a bonus they accept NFC payments! Its a shame they dont mention it on their Google page but they do!

Okay first time here, my husband and I finally got to go by and try out this place. Now I have to say I really like the atmosphere, and yes the server did warn us about the cooking times. So I can't really say they didn't warn us. But I think I like the gas grill better. It cooks so much faster and better. The food was on point. Yet my husband didn't really get the fill he would have wanted due to the grill cooking so slowly. And the side items which we both love very much so was restricted. Over all it was good but when we go back we are ordering from the kitchen.
