This place is a joke, I went to tour this place when it first opened as we have a high population of homeless individuals that I work with as I work for a non profit Organization. At that time there were only 5 people living here. They seemed happy to work along side us to get people who needed it housed. Once I started putting applications in, there was an email sent out a month later stating that they are not taking any applications and need to start over. So all of the applicants who were hopeful now had to remain where they were... On the streets... Over a year later they are open and taking applications.. GREAT!!! so I start sending applications, just to be told yet again they are no longer taking applications.. YOU DRIVE BY THE PLACE AND IT IS COMPLETELY EMPTY!!!! WITH HOMLESS CAMPING RIGHT OUTSIDE!!!!! WHERE ARE THE FUNDS GOING FOR THIS???!!!! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING PEOPLE, instead you have a few tenants and refuse to take others to fill the place up. You have individuals who can benefit from the empty spaces and who qualify per YOUR screening process. This needs to be ran better it was built to help as a transitional living to assist those who are chronically homeless yet you arent letting people live there, you arent giving people a chance, you wont even look over applications.. So again what are you doing with the funding that is meant to help this population? Because you sure as hell arent doing what it was...
ย ย ย Read moreIn 2021 When I sent our governor and mayor of NM a message about building the tiny homes for our homeless people the way other states did for there homeless and how it was helping there states . I didn't mean for our homeless people to get a tiny home that's like the prisons of NM and my reason for saying this is because not having there privacy to shower or cook I'm sure it makes them feel the opposite of feeling like there own home , the other states made there tiny homes with tiny kitchenettes and a small bathrooms so the tenants has there privacy because if some has children I'm sure they wouldn't want to be out around others for so many different reasons. So hopefully in the future this will be corrected for them and they will get there privacy that they deserve ill keep them all in my prayers. Always STAY...

It's between Pennsylvania and Wyoming off of Cental. It's a great transitional housing place for the homeless to move to their new homes. It is run by Bernalillio County and until recently UNM Caseworkers. Everybody gets along and shares a variety of daily chores. Also, the community kitchen and living room are a fun place to cook and watch TV with your...
