I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent purchase my now-wife made at Turquoise Skies. As a customer who believes in supporting local businesses, I was disheartened by the way our experience unfolded. I have been using the ring one month (engagement day 9/5/2023), at the begging featured three stunning stones (trinity ring). We were initially delighted with the craftsmanship and uniqueness of the piece. However, our joy was short-lived when, after only a month of use, one stone fell out, and another broke (photo attached). It was disheartening to witness such a rapid deterioration in a piece of jewelry that was meant to be a cherished symbol of our love. In response to this issue, we rapidly contacted your store to discuss our concerns and explore potential solutions. Our hope was to find a resolution that would allow us to continue supporting your business and enjoying the jewelry my wife had selected. Regrettably, our experience with your customer service left much to be desired. Your offer of a mere 15% discount on another product struck us as insufficient and did little to remedy our disappointment. It is sad to see how a small business like yours seems to care so little about the customer and the overall customer experience. Local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities, and it is crucial that they prioritize customer satisfaction and stand behind the quality of their products. I am writing this not out of anger or frustration but rather as a plea for improvement. We do not wish for anyone else to experience the same letdown we have endured. Instead, we hope that our feedback can serve as a catalyst for change and encourage your store to take more significant steps in ensuring the quality and durability of your products. As we search for an alternative solution to our jewelry needs, we will be exploring other ways to support local artists and businesses that prioritize customer satisfaction. We believe that a strong local community is built on trust, integrity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and experiences. I sincerely hope that our feedback serves as a wake-up call for your business and that you take steps to enhance your product quality and customer service. We, as well as many others, want to see local businesses thrive, but this can only be achieved when the customer is at the forefront of your priorities. Since they only give us the solution of buying another product form your store, which sadly of course we will now I try to save at least the silver to make another ring and now throw it away. Now a days I´m not using your ring anymore because it is sad to see this broken...
Read moreBuyer Beware. I would NOT Buy from T.Skies through e-commerce. They're advertising looks & sounds good - but what they delivered to me was junk. I lost $16.95 in two-way postage & returned the "Spirit Ring". I asked for a postage refund. Their PR person Gabs said she personally inspected the ring and it was of the highest quality. That false-claim tells me everything I need to know about Turquoise Skies, Albuquerque. They'll mail that ring out again. If you purchase the Spirit Ring don't expect it to have any black matrix-inclusions, don't expect the sterling silver to polish to a shine. The ring they sent me was obviously up-sized & appeared to have been pounded out (with a mallet) on a mandrel. The edges were wider on one side than the other (funneled). Because it was poorly stretched, it was thin on two sides & oval shaped. I took it to a well-established (25 years) trading-post that sells Quality Native-American Artisan Jewelry. When I showed it to (name withheld) she laughed. She's worked there for 13 years. She placed it on a display case that was tilted and let it roll. That ring wobbled back and forth like a drunken sailor. Ridiculous. Then & there I bought my daughter a beautiful (similar) ring for her birthday That's all I was looking for in the first place. At Turquoise Skies, I lost money and they lost nothing. And it would seem . . . this...
Read moreI ordered the Turquoise and Lapis Dessert Blossom bracelet. It is priced at $80.00. When the first bracelet arrived it was missing a turquoise bead. I contacted customer service and they happily replaced the bracelet at no charge. I received the second one and it showed up with a wonky bead. I notified customer service again where I was told that I was now being too picky and that they weren't going to do anything and if I wanted to send it back that I would have to pay for shipping and the exchange. I have purchased other items from Tskies and never had this quality issue. Well I put the bracelet on today and the bead broke. Now I am even more disappointed - the turquoise bead IS PLASTIC. It's not even real turquoise. I am beyond disappointed. I paid $80.00 for a bracelet that - 1. It was advertised as authentic/real materials. 2. The not authentic beads are cheap and break easily. 3. Not manufactured to the quality of standard that is advertised and what they charge for the product. I will never again purchase something from this...
