My mother and I went for a float session here. I will say that it would have been helpful if they had on their website that the front door entrance closes after 5:00 or whatever, but we didn't make our way around back and it was a very nice and small like reception area with plenty of goodies to buy. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and friendly. We were given enough time to prepare for our float even though we were running late. The open air float was plenty big enough for two people, I would say the water temperature was warm / hot I personally would have liked it to be a little warmer or had the ability to adjust- but it was plenty warm enough to relax all our aching muscles! The water was very slick and so was the bottom of the tub, it definitely would have been safer if there were some kind of rubber grippers there. The lighting was nice, they have some good aromatherapy there, the only thing that would have really added to the experience was having some nice Spa like music playing or at least the option for that. Unfortunately there's not good service down there so I couldn't do a meditation/ play music off of my phone. I will say that I didn't like initially having my ears underwater and earplugs didn't work so well just having that sensory deprivatory experience, but I did get used to it. I will say that we had a couple questions at one point and when we pushed the emergency call Button, the gentleman at the front desk didn't seem to hear it for some reason- good thing it wasn't actually an emergency! They had fresh towel and soap and shampoo in the showers, everything was nice and clean. It was a bit humid in the room. But overall I can definitely say that it helped alleviate my aches and pains at least in the short-term, was very relaxing for my mental health, and definitely helped with the skin. Lastly I will say it would have been nice if they had advised you to wear like a swim cap or a shower cap because there are so many tiny little grains of the salts that they get stuck on your body parts and hair and that really annoyed me afterwards! I did notice the smell of marijuana in the reception area and they do sell CBD which I personally don't approve of - I didn't think that smelled? But overall the price was fair and I would do it again. Thank you for such a novel...
Read moreunfortunately my experience wasn't as good as everyone else,
went there for half an hour infrared sauna then 30 minutes floating (first time) ended up stuck in the sauna room for 55 minutes and skipped the floating as i was frustrated and ready to leave.
tour was so brief and rushed and i guess not enough information was shared with me, whats going on and what's i need to do between the two things, or wasn't clear at all for me. i think the gentleman thought i know what to do, but i wasn't, he wasn't clear at all frankly. to be fair he was extremely nice all the time.
with the fact i asked what to do when im done with the sauna and as i understand, or didn't understand clearly that he will come and take me to the next step after my first 30 minutes is done.
i ended up setting in the sauna room for 50 minutes waiting for him, frustrated. took shower, wore my clothes and walked out to meet him and he acted like i was enjoying my time for almost an hour in the sauna room. at least he could check on me as i should go for my next 30 minutes floating and im there for an hour, no body was there other than me and my girlfriend, actually i think that i was forgotten.
some training need to happen, specially dealing with new costumers, as you need to take their hand like a babies for the first time, and never expect that they know what to do saying that as a business owner and trainer in customer service.
the staff member need to be clear, after you are done, wear your robe and come to meet me outside. here is the room, here is the call button in case you needed anything (would be very helpful if i knew there is one) and many other things but we are not in training sessions here.
choosed to give three stars for the facility as its so clean and neat, and for me being business owner and i know sometimes things goes wrong with that one customer.
i cant satify 100% of my customers but i take their bad experience as a lesson to make...
Read moreThis was my first experience with float therapy. It was quite an interesting experience. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and explained the instructions. I had the capsule. I would have appreciated flip flops but the flooring was not tile so I wasn’t going to slip. Also, if you research, you will know you’re probably going to shower prior and after the experience so that would lead you to possibly bring your own flip flops for showering. There were clear visual instructions in each room to help you along in the process if things were unclear. Average body temperature is 97.9-99 degrees Fahrenheit. I can assure you it was of average body temperature. If it seems a little warm, it probably was as your body temperature IS warm. Personally, my experience was very interesting. I was hallucinating and seeing some very peculiar things. It’s beautiful what your mind can do. My partner didn’t have the same experience as far as the visual aspects. That’s quite interesting as well. After the float therapy, we are able to gather ourselves and use the space to blow dry hair and get yourself together. There is a cute space that has tea, coloring, books etc. to help you transition in or out of this experience....
