*Added review December 4 2017. They charged my card twice. I just was there tonight and happened to check my bank account to be sure a deposit came in. I noticed a double charge on my account for tonights groceries. The same quantity charged twice. I hope this is fixed ASAP. Be cautious using your card (credit card or debit) at this location is what I learned today. I will only use cash if I have to go there.
*Seriously need to update their phone. Don't call the google or whitepages or yelp listed number if you need to call them. Its the old number and the owners have yet to update it for some reason-so it will ring as "busy". I don't even know if 411/operator assistance has the right store number. That should have been the first thing they changed online and off. BUT: Love this place better than when it was Valley Farm. The prior Valley Farm never matched up to the level it was at its other locations. You went there for 2 things: meat (when it was on sale) and its produce section. Now you can actually SHOP for groceries-and it has a huge selection that reminds me of Giant. For the most part its prices are decent/comparable. The meat section is great but its counter isn't as good-i'll admit. But VASTLY better on the prepackaged meat side. And after its revamp-its impressive. What do I miss? The bakery. I really wish they would bring it back. I would definitely go to Superfoods more if their bakery was a bakery-or at least offered the fresh breads (non roll types/more like the specialty breads they used to offer ie:...
Read moreI rate each star by #1 Cleanliness, #2 Prices, #3 Friendly Environment ( Greet every customer with a smile.) #4 Time, #5 Customer Service. I've given one star for Cleanliness, the floor war scuffed as you enter the store in the left, but that's about it. Next thing I noticed was the loud Hispanic Music playing, Which I find rude only for the fact that, this is suppose to be a public place, To make everyone feel welcomed when entering the Supermarket. Every employee that walked passed me did not smile nor could the women at the counter serving hot food greet me with a smile and she almost walked away when I asked her the price of a lunch platter because of the language barrier. Then they have under trained people at the register and the manager didn't know how to resolve an issue when my cashier totaled out my transaction. I had to go to customer service and stand and wait in that line and I had to get my kids from school. Then mind to the manager never smiled or apologizes for his cashier'mistake and I honestly feel like calling the city or someone in there to get it up to standards because I will never shop there again. Since I'm a Google Guide I'm sure other customers will see what I'm...
Read moreStarted shopping here, when Superfood first opened in Spring 2016. What a difference, from the store they replaced! My first impression was how clean the store was and the great variety of items. In the beginning, stock was limited, but I saw the potential and continued shopping at Superfood.
As the store grew, so did the Inventory and reminds me a huge Queens, NY bodega. The produce section is wonderful, with fresh fruits and vegetables, not found in other stores.
They have a great selection of bakery items, I haven't seen, since leaving NY, at prices that everyone can afford.
There is a large variety of spices, at very reasonable prices and conveniently located to the right of the entrance door, in the fresh produce section.
Fresh meats and poultry are abundant, with cuts not found elsewhere.
In general, number 1, the store is clean, the help is friendly and every-day prices that no other store can beat.
Frankly, if you're reading this review, ignore the negative reviews and go see for yourself. Once you go there, I think you'll...
