Lesko Auto Sales — Local services in Alma

Ok. You guys remember me posting all my vehicle issues from last year? Here's a little story about Lesko Auto Sales in Alma, Ga. I'm letting you all know here because when I left a comment to someone on their page trying to warn them, Lesko deleted my comment and made it so I cannot comment on anything from their page anymore. Soooooooo.

I bought a Yukon from them last year. I drove it. Noticed the dash was cracked, the odometer lights didn't work or the ones to show you the gear you're in. I noticed it wasn't 100% smooth. I get back from test driving. I tell them I like it but I explain to the guy the issues I noticed and I ASKED IF IT WAS EVER WRECKED. lol This man looks me dead in my eyes and says "No", tells me the 22 inch rims are why it kind of shakes at higher speeds, and gives me a replacement dash cluster to have me get it fixed myself.

Fast forward like a couple weeks. We're facing issues keeping oil in it. It eats up tires every two months. It's pulling to the side. It's running hot every other day no matter what. We kept Lesko informed of all this. The ac went out. You name it. So one day my boyfriend was in town with it and was approached by the previous owner of my vehicle. He was told by the man that the vehicle had been totaled while in his care and that we'd never keep tires on it because the frame was junk and had been welded on. Sure enough it was true. They also didn't tell us that the rotars on it arent even ones that fit a yukon spent even more on parts and gas tracking all this down trying to keep it from falling apart.

Well, it ended up falling apart. It broke down. The oil pressure kept shooting up and it kept running hot and they never offered to do anything. So, we told them come pick it up and take a look.

They came and got it. Once he had it, he saw it was leaking oil and running hot. We busted them out about it being wrecked and no one denied it once we told them we talked to the previous owner and mechanics that had worked on it when it was wrecked. I have no idea how they got away without a salvage title but regardless, I was lied to.

Anyway, this man offered to let us keep driving it like it was!! Just said it shook a lot but it was still drivable.

I was livid. They offered to put me in something else until one I liked better came along. (I'm like no, if you'll lie once, you'll do it again). But I let them so I'd have time to get something reliable. They brought me in to do paperwork on the white Tahoe you see in the photo. The lady that worked there insisted I test drive. I laughed and told her I test drove the Yukon and still was deceived. She was apologetic and went about bashing her boss about this and that. They also made me pay $350 in fees and taxes to get into the Tahoe and explained they were doing me a favor in not asking an entire down payment. Really? I told the woman I wanted to speak with justin asap face to face because I couldn't ever get him on the phone and it was a big heated mess. I asked her 3 times to please ask him when a good time is for me to come in to talk to him. Justin even called her with me sitting there after that and she STILL did not ask and I to this day never heard from Justin.

The Tahoe was in fair shape. The handling was awful and I was always scared to take curves in it but we finally now have a fully decked 2011 GMC Acadia with an incredible warranty and service plan thanks to DriveTime in Greenville, SC!

Oh, by the way, and I have witnesses and cannot make this up. When i went to get the Tahoe and she was running her boss down, i asked what he would sell it for knowing it needed a new motor (because i really liked the body on that yukon), she replied "He will find some dummy to buy it as is."

What does that make me? Don't be that dummy y'all. Can't expect much from Alma, Ga anyway. It was my mistake. Go see the peeps at DriveTime! Lesko is bad news and...

The ONLY REASON I HAVE 1 star highlighted on here is because it wouldn’t let me leave a message without it! These Lesko Auto Sales reached out to myself after I left message for info on a car. The lady asked for me by name. She asked if she had the right number….. I said yes, but I didn’t reach out to Alma Ga for a vehicle. She hung up……… IN MY FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called back and asked if she hung up on me and she said “I did”. I asked why would she call me and gang up in my face when all I said was that she has the right number but I wouldn’t contact Alma when I’d have no way to get there. Well, I asked for her manager, she said I could talk to her. I said I wanted her manager and she said she was the manager. I said I want to talk to the owner, she said she was the owner. I got No where talking to her! Who calls someone 2 times in a row to hang up in their face?! Who? Who handles a potential customer like she did?!!!! Let me tell ya, it take a while to gain a customer….. if she wanted me as a customer she would have found a way to meet in the middle since I couldn’t get to ALMA!!!!! It takes 1 SECOND to loose 10 customers! And I promise, after that????? She lost more than 10! How dare she treat me that way?????! What a very unprofessional way to...
