I visited this spa the day before my cruise. It was so delightful, with the exception of one thing (hence the 4 star review...)! I brought in the color that I wanted, but instead of using that color, they decided to match their color to mine, no problem, totally understandable. The issue came about though, when they were adamant about me using gel polish because of its longevity. I opposed that for my pedicure, but obliged for my manicure and I was assured that the colors would be the same! I want to add that Penny was my technician and she was great! She offered me a bottled water and another sweet lady walked around due to the rainy weather conditions to offer Vietnamese coffee, which was delightful by the way! She even shared with me the information so that I could purchase additional coffee to enjoy at home, etc., just a super friendly environment that I thoroughly enjoyed. Penny and I even shared a couple laughs. It was great, until I happened to have looked down to see how orange-red my toes were. I was like okayyyyyy, I guess it may be a little dark due to it still being wet so let me give it a bit. Then we got to my manicure, again a wonderful experience but not quite the color I was going for AT ALL!!! Once I was finshed I put the two colors together because I said maybe its just me, or maybe the lighting is off, and I was reassured that I wasn't going color blind, that there was in fact a discrepancy in the colors of my manicure and pedicure. I asked Penny and she said "no, same color!" I wasn't so sure so I asked the young gentleman on my way out and he said quickly "Same!" Then he hurried out of the shop to leave for the day. At the very least I was expecting Penny to be truthful about what she saw with her own eyes and maybe just offer to fix it then or another time, as I said, the next day I was sailing out for a cruise. Instead what I got was a doubled-down lie with a second from the gentleman and they both know that was unacceptable! I see I had a similar experience with someone else who had nail color selection issues, so my advise would be to locate your colors before your service and have them do color swatches beforehand to make certain that you agree with the color(s) being used for your service(s). Otherwise, Penny did a great job with the actual...
Read moreThis was the worst pedicure and SNS experience. It’s like they let just anyone work there. The pedicure i received was extremely fast and my she did not cut my cuticles or remove the dead skin on the sides and bottom of my foot. I tried to talk to her multiple times but she couldn’t understand me and would just start speaking to someone in her native language in an. Angry tone. When she applied my polish it was a incorrect color not the color i chose , when i asked if she could change it she did it in a annoyed way. Before starting my pedicure i had also let them know i wanted a SNS manicure …. But by the time she was halfway through my pedicure i decided to not get that service… the lady who was doing my pedicure was not sentive to my feet. She applied oil on my dry legs and didn’t wipe it off all the way. THEN one of the guys came and tried to do my full set and i told him i had changed my mind. 20 min later another worker approached me and asked me in front of everyone why i didn’t want to get them done and to get them done and grabbed my hand and basically forced it on me, she did the SNS dip as i was sitting on the pedicure seat and she did it so fast and unprofessional , she had another woman file my nails down to NOTHING and in the wrong shape. I had worked so hard to grow my nails off. They were so cheap looking … it’s been 5 days and they are already chipped and some have fallen off… they charged me 72$ for a caky towel polish and a horrible manicure and i still tipped them and one of the women Suggested i gave them 100$ With tip included and when i didn’t tip the $100 she got mad and said out loud if i was really only tipping less … she stormed off and started speaking in her native language and everyone started to stare at me. HORRIBLE PLACE. They will never get my money again. So...
