Seeing these reviews make me skeptical of people who leave reviews. So I am a business owner and I take public critiques and reviews very seriously. I am only writing this in hopes that the manager/owner can get 100% honest feedback. First, I only wanted an egg and bacon on a croissant. I thought it was going to be quick because well, this is a breakfast type diner. I literally stood there for 35 minutes after paying and ordering my food. People were coming in sitting down, ordering, and receiving their food before me. My husband finally had enough and asked for our money back. The lady at the register was absolutely rude and told him it was going to be a while because she was busy and then yelled at the girl making all the breakfasts in the place "I need an egg and bacon on a croissant!" Wait, what? It was never put in? Any way, i finally received my sub par sandwich (because the egg mixture is cooked in the microwave, not on a grill or stove top). But every time I go there, they take FOREVER. Another thing I witnessed was there was an UberEats order that was sat up on the counter. A young man picked it up as it was unlabeled and asked the rude lady, "whose is this?" She told him, it's the barber's next door ... go take it to him." After he leaves, the cook looks up and says, "where's my UberEats order?" The rude lady said, "he took it next door," totally throwing him under the bus as if she didn't tell him to take it. When he got back with the food, he said "he already got his order." The rude lady starts to chastise him saying he should know better and he should know to ask before taking things and all other absurdities. Like she didn't tell him to do it. Read moreFirst time I've been to Boston coffee house in Altamonte Springs. I'm not impressed in the slightest. The BAD: Staff was socializing when entered. Although the cashier/server was sweet she didn't know the menu at all. Asiago beef & focaccia sandwich that I had ordered came a little too quick for what is asked for in the sandwich ingredients. 3a. The bread seemed pre-toasted or it just went cold when it came to the table. 3b. In a hot sandwich I expect all the inside ingredients to be hot as well. Beef was cold, the provolone cheese was not melted and the mushrooms were raw and cold (I can look pass that), & certainly not enough bleu cheese dressing (if that's what it was) & not enough sliced beef. 3c. Too much bread and not enough of everything. Also fibers of hair from the kitchen towels were stuck to the edge of the sandwich. Poor eye for detail when sending food out of the kitchen. Not good at all. Silverware was had strong water stains (it shows they don't polish their flatware) Men's Bathroom was quite dirty especially the outside of the door leading all the way in. Embarrassing & lack of respect. Remember the staff was socializing, no excuses for a dirty bathroom. No outside seating (some might not mind, but I like the option of sitting outside with my coffee/tea). Overpriced & quite loud for a coffee shop. (it was empty) Also gnats were flying around me as I was typing this. The GOOD The hot chai tea was very delicious. I certainly liked the mug it was served in.

At the end of Oct the breakfast item I purchased was $6.52, now a couple weeks later it is $8.52. So, obviously prices have increased very recently. Original review- I don’t know what is going on with this location. I would go here 1-2 times a week as a regular, the people who worked there knew my name, they were friendly and efficient when it came to filling orders. Now apparently owners have changed and thing have gone down hill fast. The phone is no longer answered, if they do answer you are immediately on hold and forgotten. It appears all of the former staff have been replaced with people who really don’t know what to do and move incredibly slow. Wait times are so much higher for orders, or they don’t have half their menu available. I have tried to go 2-3 times since the changes over a few weeks and there has been no improvement. On top of that prices have gone up 30%. If you need to raise prices your service and customer experience should not go down!
