Have visited 4x. Staff have been strangely rude, entitled, snooty just ringing up a sale without our ever having met before. There were no extenuating circumstances, I didn't ask for special assistance nor did I actually need service other than to be rung up. I find the positive reviews here most disingenuous given how positive they are, honest feedback for this place would be 2.5 stars. They are obviously owned by locals with loyal friends. For ex. A review which magically appeared right after mine asserts people in this store are "all polite". No other reason for that review. It's obvious they are abusing the feedback system. Usually I 'd let it go and just avoid the place/people. And I sincerely hope other people get better treatment. For me, it's not worth it. Whole foods and Sustain are minutes away, both friendly, genuine. Some very knowledgeable people there. As an aside, I've been a business owner. You can't put a price on goodwill, and I've always trained my employees to smile and be polite. Of course there can be a rude customer but most still came to the store for a reason and can be given help. It costs...
Read moreWeird place and weird vibe. I came by after the gym today just for sandwiches. I figured I’d give them a second chance but my go-to is Whole Foods.
The cashier followed me once I got in the store, she apparently welcomed myself and my fiancée in. We didn’t hear her. She said “I know you can hear me…” then gave us her spiel about their sales.
We grabbed 2 turkey sandwiches and went to the register. She said “what’s the rewards number” as if to assume I had one. Thankfully for her I did albeit from years ago.
She then judged me for my purchase “is that all you came in for? Just the sandwiches?” I said yes. She then said “oh, ok. Well alright I’m glad that we had them because usually “ blah blah blah.
She was intrusive, making me not want to browse, snooty, stuck up and rude. I’ll stick to Whole Foods even if it means spending a couple more bucks. I suggest you...
Read moreAbsolutely love this store! We are members and take advantage of their sales on Wednesdays. They have a variety of health and wellness products some grocery items too! Everything from lotions to wine you can find there. It's prices are comparable to Whole Foods. The staff however, is by far the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny and have no problem answering any of your questions. I recommend if it's nearby to you and you're looking for a place to start buying healthier alternatives to food and supplements because they're smaller there's a more of a community and individual...
