This was my first visit ever to a First Watch. I was greeted by 2 lovely staff members that held the door open for me and assisted me in a swift choice for a to go order. There was almost no one seated for meals at the time and the staff gave me an estimate of 10- 15 mins for my order. There was another staff member rolling silverware at huge table directly in front the register/ to go area. I went to the restroom and waited in the lobby over 40 mins. The entire restaurant filled up in this time frame. I think a manager even looked at me dead on about 3 different times. No one ever mentioned that my food was ready and had been waiting. No one even questioned my awkward loitering in the enterance where you have to stand in the middle of the door way. A total of 48 mins later, the staff that took my order originally was surprized. He spoke to me and said he was going to check on my order. It had been sitting behind the girl rolling silverware the whole time. It was absolutely cold and miserable. All she said was "I didnt know that was there." They didnt offer to re heat or replace or a small discount or even an apology for the extended ( unnecessary) wait. I can not see my self trying this location again. My first visit of this particular restaurant was less...
Read moreI’ve been a long-time customer of this location for a while now. Eating here several times a week because I really love the avocado toast. Due to my last experience 2 to 3 weeks ago I finally contacted the location because they continue to serve me brown avocado which cost about $16 once I add bacon to my order. I’m not just giving them one star because I was served brown avocados several times before I actually called. I’m giving them a one star because when I called to let the manager (I think her name was Amy or Amanda) offered to send me out a gift certificate (that I didn't ask for) for my troubles. Yet its been 2-3 weeks and I have received nothing. How do you make false promises to customers to fix a situation only make it worse? I was just about to order today when I remembered I never got the certificate and why I haven’t been ordering from them in awhile. I normally order several times a week which I can provide proof of BUT now this location has lost a long time customer! I’ve been going here since they shut the Altamonte location down on 436 and it’s never been my favorite location (the Maitland one is the best) even though it’s the...
Read moreI came here one day for a business brunch, and it was just as lovely as it ever is. Lovely service in a lovely environment with plenty of lovely sunlight coming through the windows. I sipped on some coffee until my colleague got there, and thankfully First Watch has an unlimited amount of hazelnut little cream cups. Delicious.
When it was time to order food, I got overwhelmed at first, because every single thing on their menu sounds delicious. So the same thing happened that happens every time, I panicked and ordered my tried and true, The Works Omelet (Ham, bacon, sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Topped with all-natural sour cream).
No regrets. This thing is dang delicious. Unlike other brunch chains, they pack in a good amount of meat and veggies. Very filling omelet with the always nice country potatoes. You get a bread, too, so I chose a bagel, because bagels are amazing accompaniments for omelets. Very good breakfast.
Overall, this is a good place, even though it's a chain. I come to this place semi-regularly, and will...
