Battery Joe (45th Ave) — Local services in Amarillo

Horrible service. Was told my ipad would be ready the day of. After ME calling them over and over again and being promised it would be ready, they called me 15 minutes before they closed and told me that they hadn't even started on it. I thought it was weird considering the promises made not but an hour prior when I had called. So I wasted a day in Amarillo, I don't live here, waiting on them for nothing. The next day I had not heard from them yet again so I called. Apparently the screen they put on my device was defective (they hadn't bothered to check it before installation.) and they'd have to order another one. They then told me they wouldn't have it done until the next Wednesday. SIX DAYS after they had said I would get my device back day of. I didn't want to do that and I was tired of their idiocy so I asked for my Ipad back. They then told me they had destroyed my screen in the process of removing it and there was no way for me to get my device back before they replaced the screen. They continued to not be proactive and call me so I had to call them to confirm my iPad was ready. Here's the kicker, Its my school Ipad and I have been falling behind in college because they kept my lifeline for almost a whole week. 300 dollars later and I feel as though this was the worst experience...

On the first cold day of the year, I couldn't get my car to start. I was at home with my car in the garage. It appeared that a new battery would get me up and running. I called AAA only to be told they don't offer on-site battery installation in our area. I proceeded to call several tire dealers and other mechanics only to be told time and again that they didn't offer mobile service. It hadn't occurred to me to try Battery Joe's. I didn't realize they sold auto batteries. Their webpage said they would come to my house and jump my car. Then I could follow them to their store to buy a replacement battery. That sounded like it would work so I called to schedule an appointment. I asked about mobile service and was completely surprised to find that for a $25 fee, they would bring the battery and install it at my house. I booked the appointment and was told it would be about an hour. Their technician arrived early, did the work, didn't leave a mess and was professional. So I take my old phone in there to get a new battery, as my newer phone broke. So I leave it there for a day or two, and when I come back, they inform me that the guy who is changing out the battery cracked something on the back of my phone.

So he said he would fix it for free (well yeah I sure hope so)

So i get my phone, and the battery barely works any better than the first one. So he says the battery was bad, so they sold me a bad battery.

Then i got there at 6:30 pm to get another battery switched out, and the guy informs me that he couldn't do it tonight, because he still has closing procedures to do, and the battery switch takes 30 minutes.

So they advertise being open until 7? But they wont serve customers...
