As a New Mexican who appreciates both regional flavors and consistent quality, visiting Chick-fil-A in Amarillo, TX, was a pleasant experience. Known for its exceptional service and delicious chicken dishes, this location lives up to the Chick-fil-A reputation.
Ambiance: The Chick-fil-A in Amarillo offers a clean, modern, and welcoming environment. The interior is bright and cheerful, with plenty of seating options that cater to both small and large groups. The restaurant is well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to enjoy a meal.
Food: The menu at Chick-fil-A is centered around their famous chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and waffle fries. I opted for the classic Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, which was perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The sandwich was complemented by the signature Chick-fil-A sauce, adding a delicious tangy flavor.
The waffle fries were hot and crispy, a perfect side to the sandwich. I also tried the Chick-fil-A Nuggets, which were tender and flavorful. For a refreshing drink, I chose their freshly squeezed lemonade, which was the ideal balance of sweet and tart.
One thing I appreciate about Chick-fil-A is their attention to dietary preferences. They offer a variety of salads and grilled chicken options for those seeking a lighter meal, and they are accommodating to dietary restrictions.
Service: The service at Chick-fil-A in Amarillo was outstanding. The staff were friendly, polite, and efficient. They went above and beyond to ensure that our order was correct and that we had everything we needed. Read moreI frequent this location multiple times a month and normally the line moves quickly, the food is fresh and never tastes like it's been fried in old oil LIKE OTHER locations, and staff are always friendly. Never have issues. Today I watched 21 vehicles(during my 30minute wait TO ORDER ) in the other lane pass me by, that came in after me. I could not figure out if it was the person in front of me complicating things or the lady taking orders was having computer problems. The worker kept going back to the hut where you sometimes pay and not coming out to take orders. It was MAGGIE, the person taking my order. When I finally got to place my order, she acted as though she was having a hard time hearing me by asking me several times what I said, instead of coming out of the hut to my window to clarify, she just continued to asked me "huh& what" from inside the hut acting like she was having a hard time hearing me. I stated my order so stinking simple " 2 chick-fil-a sandwiches only & 1 small lemonade no ice & no sauces, that's it", my exact words. Maggie asked several times what was the name/how do i spell that/repeat the name again and again, about which meal I wanted those sandwiches with, and which sauce I want, what size of drink do I want, you want Extra ice? When I handed her my card ( my arm fully extended and leaning out the window), she stays inside the hut and while still holding her tablet with both hands, only flips open the palm of her hand for the card, FROM 3FEET AWAY. She just stood there and looked at me holding my card out to her. If this girl is truely handicap and can't hear/can't walk/has no customer service skills, please Chick-fil-A don't put her on the front lines anymore, find another area for her. Please. To make sure I have the right person here is my receipt information: 1-25-2023 @ 4:23pm Total $11.98 Transaction number 412...
Read moreI love Chick Fil A and never experienced such terrible customer service from them before today. My family is headed out to the lake and we thought we’d grab dinner before we left. We did an online pick up. I picked it up and left, after distributing food to hungry children, opening sauce packets, and making sure everyone had a straw I realized my own food (cool wrap & avacado ranch) were not in the bag. My husband turned around and I went in with a screen shot of my order because it wasn’t ordered on my phone/account but my aunts. When I went in the first worker didn’t understand what the problem was, and said my order wasn’t ready yet. I told her Again that I already got my order but I was missing my wrap. She then got the manager who wanted to see the food. I explained the kids in my car were currently eating it so that wouldn’t be possible. He then asked for the receipt. He apologized and walked away. Again he came back and asked for my receipt. I showed him again and he went to the computer to look it up. He then explained to me that it was part of their inventory and it says I got it. Frustrated I said I did not get it and although he still apologized it was very condescending and he did not believe me. He then again walked away and finally told a worker to get one out of the fridge, while the other workers whispered about what was happening. This was so frustrating and something I’ve never seen from a manager at Chick-Fil-a. All I can say is Georgia Street...
