I've had some very good experiences at this particular location on Coulter Road in Amarillo. The food always seems fresh and they have a good turnover. I usually get noodles and veggies, half and half, with two entrees. No matter how much I look at everything else I seem to always end up getting orange chicken. I don't usually order the premium entrees because I'm on a budget. But once in awhile when they have something new like the sizzling shrimp then I will get it just to try it out. I like to get the two entree because it gives me leftovers for the next day. The other day I decided to get rice for a change and surprisingly, the one time I ordered it, they were out so I went back to my regular. I had to wait for the vegetables to be prepared and the man behind the counter kept apologizing. I told him it wasn't a problem because I wasn't in a hurry. They ended up giving me extra vegetables and a free appetizer to compensate for the wait which wasn't necessary but was very much appreciated. I told the man behind the counter whose name I didn't get that he was a hard worker and he waved his hand around in a circle and said everybody here is. I thought that was really nice that he wanted to give credit to all of his co-workers. Everyone was as pleasant as could be. I've had good experiences at most of the Panda Express locations I've gone to but I do remember one in particular which I think was in Arizona that I thought was way below standard. Otherwise I'm very...
Read moreOrdered 2 large chowmein and 4 orders of veggie spring rolls and requested 4 sachets of sweet & sour sauces and 10 sachets of chillie paste for my kids. Yes, we eat spicy. The server at the window denied my request for 10 sachet of chillie paste, and offered only 4. Her argument was that she is allowed to give only 2 sachet per order. If you do the math, I gave her a total of 6 orders, so that would make 12. She didn't get the math, so I offered to pay for the sachets without success. This person simply kept repeating that she can't give me 10 sachet as if I was begging for food for free. I left disappointed with 5 sachets. However, when kids informed me that the amount of chowmein served in large boxes was only 3/4 th full (see pic), I had to call the restaurant. The person on phone (after listening to our experience) said, "thanks for calling, I will inform the server". My response, "is that it?". Finally they connected me to the store manager. Store manager, offered to compensate for the inconvenience with small box of chowmein and 4 more sachets of chillie sause. Upon my return to window, the person on counter, didn't want to even see the picture of the box of chowmein or see me eye-to-eye.
It would be nice if the staff here was a bit respectful to customers and be mindful of what/how they say/react with facial expressions at the window. Customers pay for the food, so please at least provide the amount that you are...
Read moreWe ordered through Pandas app for delivery, only two plates. 30min later the driver calls to say they restaurant couldnt make our food. Ok fine, BUT our order shows it was fulfilled and is now a previous order. We called the restaurant, they confirmed they couldn't fulfill the order, however they also said they had nothing to do with the online ordering, even if through their app. Apparently they use door dash drivers, on their app.... So we paid for two full meals, plus the tip, that the driver gets to keep, and the restaurant makes the money for the meals they didn't provide. All in all, its flat out stealing. There's no way to call the app, you have to send in an email and wait, and hope it's read so you get your money back. 0/10 recommend using their app OR...
