I do not like cvs period , but this particular one had an overzealous loss prevention employee who falsely accused me of theft- over two thousand dollars for an attorney to get the charges thrown out and that’s not all cvs also caused me to lose my vehicle by saying my seizure meds were ready and being held - I go to pick them up and am feeling funny because I missed a day , guess what the super typical CVs employee said when I got there - oh we actually don’t have that in Stock and it’s a long weekend so we can’t fill it for three days . I had a seizure on my way home and hit a telephone poll- thanks CVs ! Tooo bad loss prevention wasn’t our for a walk after looting the store and standing in front of the pole. W whomever made no effort to help me fill my seizure med even when I explained to him I need them to drive and feel funny have no other way home!who needs a car and why take seizure medication as directed it’s not like it’s important if you drive or anything. I’m calling corporate and giving them an itemized bill for over five thousands dollars when it all is combined between the attorney fees? The humiliation of being almost 40 and having them make a rediculous scene accusing me of shoplifting ( i think the employee stole the stuff and blamed me I used to go in there a lot and the stuff that I supposedly stole but that no one could find because, I didn’t take anything I have a kid at home who needs me🤬, had been missing for quite some time . They lied and told the police they just faced the shelves and everything had been in its place . Total lie on the part of loss prevention: I have a feeling she loots the store and then gets the money back by having random people arrested . Fortunately I just got a ticket because the police finally realized this wasn’t making sense and the employees started screaming at the police for me still being there ( I hear the police say I don’t think she’s a danger to anyone I guess they don’t need to find their “missing merchandise” I know corporate is probably just going to act stupid but they wasted a lot of money I could have spent on my daughter and her dad who is dying of cancer - we don’t have a car anymore thanks to cvs so he has to take a bus to his treatments thanks CVs. That’s ok he can wait for his leukemia’s treatment! This company is the scum of the earth, you can probably meet nicer people...
Read moreThis review is exclusively for an experience I just had at the pharmacy. And I want to preface this by saying: I work in customer service every day. In fact I just had a really trying day at my customer service job when I came to the pharmacy and this happened. I also work in a profession where customer privacy and discretion are important, so I’m particularly shocked and disappointed by this behavior.
I received a text that said I had eight days left to pick up a prescription. I came to the pharmacy four days later. The woman asked me for my name (spelled out) and date of birth four times while chewing gum and looking completely disinterested. That’s fine - I work with hard of hearing people and people going through hard times and I don’t take these things personally. But then, she walks back to where they keep the prescriptions and yells “I don’t have anything for you.” I told her about the text and asked if she wanted to see it. She said “You can show me but I don’t have anything.” (?) Then she asked which med it was. I told her the first two letters as the text relayed them. She then shouts back “Oh that was for the (name of medication) and it’s expired now.” And then stared at me until I asked what it would take to get it refilled.
Okay. Regardless of the fact that I came within the eight day period, and I was given no explanation or apology for why the med wasn’t there, and this woman kept looking at me like I was scum… the thing that upset me was that she YELLED the name of my medication aloud. I understand confirming meds at the counter. But this was a violation of my privacy in front of other customers and honestly it was so humiliating that I think I need to change pharmacies.
I’ve had fine interactions with the people at the front counter and even some of the other pharmacists. But this is medical ethics 101. Reading other reviews, I sense others have had the same pharmacist I had today (or someone quite similar). So it seems this rudeness and lack of ethics has been going on for years and management doesn’t care. So so...
Read moreThis pharmacy is ridiculous. I had a prescription put in, it said it was ready and I had until 9/15 to pick it up. I get there today (9/8) to pick it up along with another medication that I needed. They said they didn't have the medication, I said it said on the app it was supposed to be there until 9/15. The lady goes okay, and puts it in. I wait for about 10 minutes and hear the pharmacist go "WE DON'T HAVE THAT!" and then the poor lady who I am assuming is the pharmacy tech says across the store "Sorry sir, we don't have that". I literally had it put in on Thursday and got a note saying it was ready. I go to get my 2nd prescription, and the pharmacy tech is just standing there. He goes "Put your name into the tablet to start your prescription pick up". I go "Can't you just take my name and birthday and go get it?" He says "Nope, gotta put it in the tablet" Then the tablet isn't working, then it is, then it is sending me through questions. Then once I am done, he isn't around. Finally, he helps me by getting my prescription. Absolutely useless, all of them from the pharmacist down to the pharmacy staff. Unfortunately, with all the Walgreens going out of business, these clowns are going to be the...
