I see Nicole has been busy abusing her position at Dollar general to Target specific customers and treat them in a condescending and antagonistic manner. I am posting this review because I want people to be aware that there should be a survey that shows up on the screen of the card reader facing the customer If you pay by credit or debit ( I Am unsure if this applies to cash payments). I went through today with two orders, and when I paid for the first one I saw the survey pop up and since Nicole was cashier at the time and as usual was being unnecessarily rude and aggressive, I began looking closer at the 1 question survey and noticed nicole frantically trying to remove the survey from the screen using controls at the register . As my second order went through, I made sure to stay and respond to the question about service at the register immediately before she could take it off the screen. The deception used by Nicole in trying to exit the survey meant to provide feedback about her job performance was what really made me go for a very low rating, otherwise I may not have bothered, but it was an insult to the intelligence of customers. There was a long line of people so I tried to get my things out of the way and leave and Nicole screamed" you picked the angry one!" She made this statement as I was reaching the door to exit and was loud enough that every customer in line heard and was staring. I highly doubt she was even supposed to be reading my comment on the screen but then she asked if something had happened that had upset me and I stated that you are rude to myself and my boyfriend. Every time we come into the store. She told me since you don't like it you are not allowed to come back. I told her that management made these surveys for a reason and you can't refuse someone entry to a business because you didn't like their multiple choice selection on a survey upper management created because they want honest feedback so they can keep business running efficiently and solve problems. I almost never take the time out of my day to complain about someone just struggling to get by, but I felt like she was this woman puts work as priority number two, and abusing and misusing authority as priority number one.I just want to make everyone aware of these surveys and also that you can call corporate to report her behavior to a district manager. I have worked as a cashier before and I would never ask an employee to do something.. I would much rather help someone advance in their career because they are doing a good job then spend my time and energy complaining about someone.I feel like I have to speak up for other people who may not be able to do so. Often when someone intentionally misuses even the smallest amount of power, this is a sign of deeper psychological problems antisocial personality traits and a poor work ethic. I feel very badly for the other employees at the store and I can only imagine the way her attitude affects the morale of those poor people who have to interact with her on nearly a daily basis at work. I also would like to add, that surveys are usually supposed to be anonymous and I highly doubt that nicole is supposed to peak at a customer 's selection and then put it on blast for about 20 people waiting in line. In addition, . The purpose of this type of survey is to get honest feedback that can make the difference between a business that thrives and one that barely turns a profit. I am going to add a photograph of one of my receipts to show when I was there and the time in hopes that somebody Will put a stop to this unnecessary and frankly disgusting behavior.
