From astonished aray of excellent quality of furniture to the updated, modern looks, to extraordinary professional service offered by the staff, I am absolutely amazed! It was my 3rd week looking for some living room furniture. As a REALTOR, I am quite picky. I need it to find something that will fit the space and the taste. Not just that, this particular store had it, but I had several options to choose from! Amazing! We have been to probably 5-7 other furniture stores and warehouses, and we couldn't find ONE couch set that will touch our criteria of comfort, quality, size, budget, and color, and here, at this particular Jerome store, we found several options to choose from! Amazing! I am so impressed by the professionalism Yuri approached me! Usually, the salesperson at other stores are "on you" too much, even though shopping for furniture is a very personal matter. So, their opinion doesn't matter to me; I am going to be the one sleeping on that bed, or eating at that table, or setting cozy on a couch! Sometimes, I had to tell the salesperson in other stores to give us a moment to talk to each other ( my husband and I), because they will just stand there next to us, but here we found a perfect balance of professional approach and skills!
Yuri, and Aaron, the managers of this store, made me feel like they were my friends, answering all my questions and then backed off, letting us make the decision. They are very knowledgeable about different materials that are used in the building process about the couches we been interested in, as well as the inventory in specific sets.I been in the store for probably two hours, sitting and trying different couches, and the staff made me feel like they were over to my house, as friends talking about my new couch! Read moreWe bought a sofa and loveseat set from Jerome’s, and when it arrived, we saw that the color was completely different than the one we saw in the showroom. We told the delivery crew that they had the wrong color, but they said they had to drop off the delivery even if we didn’t want to accept it. They claim that all deliveries are final once the delivery crew has left, but they don’t give you a choice to refuse it. The delivery crew told us they would file a report but to call customer service because they were the only ones that could help us. Customer service told us they would let Jerome’s ( ANAHEIM LOCATION) know and to expect a call. They didn’t call us, so I tried speaking to a manager, but they sent me a text message saying, “ This frame does not come in a different color”. Once I called the store again, I spoke with one of the lady managers, and she said she would talk to corporate and call back in 30 - 60 minutes. We’re still waiting for her call. She left and told another employee to let us know that we were only getting store credit. They also refuse to pick up the sofa and loveseat until we choose another set. I understand all sales are final, but they forced us to accept the order and won’t give us a refund. We told the delivery crew before they brought the sofa to the house that it was the wrong color, but they didn’t care. They claimed that it was the lighting and we had the correct sofa, but we knew it wasn’t the color we saw in the showroom as they were loading it off the truck. They hadn’t even entered the house with the regular sofa when we spoke to the delivery crew. I can see a review where another customer had the same issue with the lighting. Jerome replied, “ You can refuse merchandise before the delivery crew leaves and either get a full refund or reselect to something else, but only if the furniture comes back with the delivery crew” This is a lie. I don't think stating all my dissatisfaction towards this company and it's furniture will do much but I've been dealing with issues since September of last year and it is now January of 2022 and yet, i still find myself following up on what they consider "quality customer service" but make their employees give you the go around probably hoping you give up and just pay for the poor excuse they call furniture. Well I'm slowly getting there but ripping people off of their hard earned money and giving little to no resolution is just horrible. I see now why they have complaints with BBB, I wish i had looked into them more and just stayed away. A poorly mounted bed, no new hardware to fix it (after they promised it would sent) due to their incompetence the bed didn't withstand the use as it was missing slats and screws. We had to toss it, what was i going to do keep a broken bed in my apartment? And all they offered was a $40 refund which still doesn't reflect on our account and when I argued they provided a gift coupon for about $90 which allows me only to buy from them, a place i wish I didn't have to deal with anymore. Our dining table never arrived. Delay after delay and our couch, that began sagging within the first two weeks, cushions warped, the bottom cover falling off, exposed staples that resulted in my toddler being cut and the best part, the bracket holding our sectional together finally falls off. So now it moves without effort. We have the warranty and had a tech "inspect" the issue, only for him to tell us that no wonder it broke, "they're using the cheap brackets" and how he now has to write a report in order to have a new bracket that attaches to the bottom ordered. Well that happened on December 23rd. It's almost the end of January. I've had to follow up twice since then. Probably have their employees overworked and unable to keep up with the demand...
