TL:DR (If you're looking for D&D books at least, check online first.)
I have bought a few items from the Anderson location and each time I've been underwhelmed by the staff. Which is sad because the whole point of me going was for customer service and to support a small business.
It is often a struggle to keep their attention when asking about products. Several of them have made it clear that customer service isn't a priority for them. In this particular instance Space Jam and bad-mouthing another employee were the priority. (Except for the two ladies working there. They were clearly hard at work stocking.)
Pricing is also a big problem for me here. I went into the store on 01/24/22 to pick up a copy of Tasha's and Sword Coast Adventure Guide. At checkout they told me it would be $70+ dollars for the two and that was AFTER a 30% sale. Both of these products are available from the publisher for about $28 each and with taxes that's $58.50
I couldn't even get the question about possibly price matching out of my mouth fully before the guy at the computer just said a cold "no". I guess $60 cash isn't as good as $0 to them. I called their Greenville location, again just to try to support locally, but they were also unwilling to price match.

Read moreI’ve been in this store so many times shopping for high priced collectibles and I’ve NEVER been greeted at the door by any of the staff when I come in or when I leave. I’ve spent well over a $1000 on collectibles and still get ignored every time I’m in the store. They literally don’t value you as a customer unless they know you personally, which I can’t get to know any of them personally because they won’t give me the time of day when I’m in there. I even had an employee reprimand me for making sure that all of the accessories were in the box before I purchased a $300 collectible figure. I wish it wasn’t this way, as this is the only comic book store in town and I would really like to feel welcomed by the staff when I’m in there shopping. Please just be more mindful of your customers. Good customer service goes a long way, especially in getting someone who could potentially buy some of this over priced collectibles you guys have been sitting...
Read moreThe place is fairly good, but why only 2 star? Because when I ask for a product behind the counter, they seemed annoyed. Once I was given the product, they walk away. I had to ask for a price for every product to a different employee. I've work in communications for 7 years and this place needs to work on communications and interactions with their customers. I don't like leaving bad reviews on a place that I will be visiting often in the future, but I also give my solution. Instead of handing over the product and walk away, stay with that customer, ask questions, and get to know your customers. The more you know about your customers the better you can help what they are looking for. Hopefully this helps in the future. I know things don't change over night, but hopefully it...
