Horizon Inn & Suites — Hotel in Anderson

The People at the front desk were not helpful at all. we reported all the problems we were having and they didn't do anything about it at all. Stayed there for 3 days the TV was never fixed we couldn't even watch TV at all we reported this multiple times and nothing was done about it. The toilet was stopped up that we had to go several times for the plunger and still nobody would fix that problem either. The air conditioner leaked the whole time we was here water running out in the floor under the bed and yet still they didn't do anything about it maintenance never once came to our room there was no trash can in the room we couldn't get towels for the room nothing no response on anything we reported. The floors were very nasty when we checked in this is just a terrible place to stay it's nasty drug deals going on outside. police was there everyday I wouldn't recommend anybody even let their dogs stay here. We reported all of these issues multiple times. We were in a situation where we truly needed a place to stay for a few days this was terrible it was a terrible experience couldn't even get anybody out here to fix the toilet or the air conditioner and these were two major problems. we think there were bed bugs also it was like I said you wouldn't want to bring your dog here to stay. Needs closed down and condemned. Think twice before going here even for an overnight stay. Hell even for a couple hours I wouldn't recommend it. They could have at least offered to move us to another room and they never even did that. When you call down there you never got an answer and a lot of times when you went to the front desk for anything you couldn't even find anybody there completely unacceptable. I expect to be refunded some money for no television and the shape that the air conditioner was in after having water leaking everywhere when you check into a room you expect the television to be working in the air conditioner to be working those two things are quite important along with a clean bed which that was terrible too the sheets were Deng they were spots all over the sheets then when we checked out they tried to charge us for it we paid a $25 deposit for pet fee and they wouldn't even give it back to us they made excuses as to the reason they couldn't give it back. They fool you with the cheap price but I tell you even as the cheap price it shouldn't even have been that it should have been like begging us to stay here for free because no one in the right mind would even bring their dogs here to stay. I'm telling you beware of this place...

Save your self time and money and stay away from this place, I rented a room here for 3 days 2 separate reservations the first room had bqq on the walls and the floor where dirty I brought my own sheets and pillows thank god I’m sure they don’t wash does either. My 2nd room was horrible I was next to some drug dealers on the first night all you can hear was music blasting and people fighting I had to barricade my self inside that’s how scary it was on my last night I left all morning and came back around 5 just to find that someone had broken inside my room I called the front desk and asked them if housekeeping comes to the room I already knew the answer but wanted to see what lie they would come up with after I told them what had happened they told me no housekeeping doesn’t come to the room into you check out so I told the lady someone had came into my room she told me oh let me check the housekeeper book maybe they did that’s when I told them well if they did they didn’t clean noting up she began to tell me I most of gave someone the room key cause no one other then housekeeping can go in I told them to make sure that no one has my a key cause it’s only me I was staying there on a work trip. She then ask me if anyone had stole anything I told them no cause I’m not dumb enough to leave valuables in a room with drug dealer next door so she ask them how did I know someone was in the room I told her cause when I left I didn’t leave the tv on and the dresser is has been moved and the chair where next to the door so you would have to move them to get into the room she called the owner once I walked to the front desk and he said to call the cops because he can’t pull the camera up unless there a cop present I once again barricaded my self my last night and check out first thing in the morning the manager once again try to steal my deposit saying that room was not under my name that when I told him then if it not under my name why do I have keys then your staff is the ones that messed up and that explain why someone broke into my room once he saw me not backing down and calling my job to confirm the name on the reservation which once again was under my name he send out the front desk lady to give me my deposit back. This place doesn't even deserve a star. The employees were drinking, smoking and littering on the job. The room wasn't clean. One of the employees got onto my babies because they didn't have a swimming suite on. So I go change them in their swimming suites and there was a employee who wouldn't stop looking at me while I'm watching my babies swim. Then another employee lies and tells me the pool closes at 7. When we checked in we were told it closes at 10. They just wanted us out of the pool area so they can get drunk instead of work. Oh there's cigarette butts around the pool area that I had to pick up so my kids won't touch it. There was only like 2 people who were working. House keeping was looking for someone and she opened our door obviously wrong room and she was smoking. The cigarette smoke came in the room and my daughter has asthma. NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO SMELL THAT OR BE AROUND IT. No breakfast but it says on one of their doors breakfast.... That's a lie. They don't help keep the noise down at night. They have roaches. I DOLLIE appreciate how the employees mistreated myself and my babies while there. Not professional. Honestly nothing good about this hotel.
