i'm updating this review after being a customer for several years. this business is run by a very friendly and hard working family, and i love to shop here. their new falafel machine makes an already great snack even better, a little more golden and softer/crispier, and i love their selection of olives, oils, and vinegars as well as the consistently tasty and reasonably priced deli options. there are some basic produce options here as well, lots of pita and lavash from local bakeries, and i personally enjoy the home made pickled turnips and beets for a colorful extra crunch. their pureed garlic sauce is amazing on anything: vegetables, bread, meat etc, and i grab a container of it every...

Yes, this market has been a part of my childhood, my mom shopped there more than Kroger or any other markets. Their Grape-leaves, vegetarian style are exactly like my moms, and most of the deli stuff. I love them, freshest feta this side of Dearborn MI, and mostly everything they have is and always was great. I go there frequently, but I live in-between Dearborn and Ann Arbor, so I go to both now. The new owner as of 2015 rings up almost every sale 25 cents and up to whatever he feels comfortable. If you notice it, he says he made a mistake. I caught him four times. I don't go there any more because I don't want to support a thief. I know it's hard to believe. But it's true. Don't take my word for it. See it for yourself. He is a definite cheat.
