Okay so the second salesman I had to deal with, Logan, as well as the finance guy; I believe his name was Jason, were fantastic. If you do decide to go and buy a vehicle from here, Logan is who I recommend. With that said, I came to University looking for a car around 5-8 grand depending. The first saleswoman pulls a list and finds a 2009 Maxima they have listed around 7 grand. I take this car around Anniston and I'm already in love to be honest. Afterwards, I took a good look at the car and saw the front tires were horrible and needed new ones. I said this to them before I had agreed to buy the car. They flat out refused saying, "Those tires are fine. They passed our inspection. They're completely safe." This was a deal breaker til after a lengthy negotiation process, they agreed to knock off $100 for the tires saying, "You can get some used ones down the road." I was completely financing the car so I didn't have any money to put towards tires because if I did I would have put money down on the car. The reason for the 1 star is because after only a couple of months of owning the car and only short trips around the Oxford, Anniston, and Jacksonville area, the tires they claimed to be "safe" slung a wire and are separated with wires exposes and are balding. If it had not slung like it did then I would have had a blow out before too long. I don't expect University to do anything about this for me cause that's just how they are. So I ask University to rethink what they call safe and do a more thorough inspection. I, however, will never buy a used car from them again and I implore everyone that no one else ever does.

*Edited to add* I have attached proof this car was sold to me with a sludged engine(which is blown with less than 65k miles on it) This car was taken to a Nissan dealer in Feb 2023 with white smoke coming out of the tailpipe and a transmission leak. The diagnosis was sludge and an engine replacement was recommended. Greenway has 50 dealers under their umbrella, including a Nissan dealership. Greenway has still not responded with a resolution on a car they sold to us for $30,000. The car was valued at $15000 when we took it to Nissan in November. Funny how the transmission issues were fixed but the sludge was missed… not sure how that is even possible. I was told by Ed himself “we cannot sell a car with sludge in the engine.” I am available for contact and resolution. Ed, your Gm knows how to reach me… This is your opportunity to correct this and make it right. July 2023 I purchased a 2020 Pathfinder with 57k miles on it. First service with the Nissan dealer I was told the engine is sludged and needs replacing. Extended Warranty denied, and the dealership refused to take ownership and make this right. Shady Business with a worthless warranty. DO NOT buy from them, they do not stand behind their sales and that tells me they were fully aware of this issue and took advantage of the consumer. Same as with the warranty company, worthless and nothing was covered.

Not going to lie. I’ve had a rough few years, truly broken in more ways than one. Never gave up though. Life has swung back the other way now and I found myself being able to walk into Greenway Dodge saying “I want THAT car!” My entire life it has always been a case of “What can you get me into?” Bobby Harris met me outside with a firm handshake and a smile. We talked about the car last night, and today I walked out of their building and got into my dream car and drove away. Bobby was attentive, patient, and polite. I never once had that old sick feeling in the pit of my gut trying to negotiate my way through a transaction. Truthfully, I enjoyed their process, they made it the easiest car buying experience I have ever had, and every person I interacted with seemed friendly and genuine. I may never buy another car again, but if I do, I wouldn’t hesitate to go see Bobby or anyone else on the staff for a purchase. HIGHLY recommended! Addendum: Had to return to the dealership with a tire issue, and once again, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. In my experience, this has been the best dealership I have ever dealt with. Thank you to Bobby Harris (sales) and Dylan (service).

What could have been an easy/simple deal turned into the worlds WORST buying experience. Me and my dad were looking for a vehicle for my mom. This dealership had the EXACT vehicle that my father and I were in the process of purchasing in Florida. I called Greenway Dodge in Anniston to see if the vehicle was still available. I was told the vehicle was still available and would I like to come view it. I set an appointment for an hour after the call since we had to drive from Birmingham. Upon arrival Monique greeted us. She was VERY nice and showed us the vehicle. We talked a little bit more about the vehicle and how its CERTIFIED PREOWNED. We decided that this was the vehicle we wanted but there were some damages we wanted taken care of. They agreed on fixing all the damages. We went into the dealership and offered $1,000 less than what they were asking. The "GM" said yes to the deal and ran my dads credit. They came back with numbers a bit higher than what we wanted to pay monthly but we decided to just do it because the car was "CERTIFIED PREOWNED". We enter finance to sign paperwork. While we are going over things the finance lady starts trying to sell us a warranty. I brought it to her attention that we didn't need one because the vehicle was Certified PreOwned. She communicates to us that the vehicle was in fact not certified. I show her where on there website it showed it was. She calls Monique in her office to confirm that the vehicle was in fact a Certified PreOwned vehicle. The finance lady then calls the GM into her office where he looks at me and my father and tells us the vehicle is not certified because he discounted it $1000. This was NEVER stated to us when we were talking numbers. He then looks at us and says it looks like we dont have a deal..... I then reply "IT LOOKS LIKE WE DONT HAVE ONE" and we walk out. As we walk out he balls the deal up and throws it in the trash. When we got into the parking lot we decided to look on there website again to verify the info, when we noticed the price had dropped to what we offered. The vehicle still showed to be CERTIFIED. I text Monique (sales lady) all of the info and explained why I was upset/confused. She tells me to wait until the following day to see exactly what was going on.

September 1st comes (the following day) and I recieve a phone call that they will do the deal with the vehicle being certified. She apologized several times and understood our frustrations. I told her we would only do the deal if they cleaned everything and repaired all of the damages. She said all of that would be done. We get to the dealership a couple of hours later to sign paperwork and we notice nothing had been done to vehicle. Monique told us her GM said they cant fix anything until all of the paperwork is completed. We said ok understandable. We told her the vehicle still needed to be delivered as we were not able to take it home ourselves. She said ok, and that she would deliver it the next day after everything was fixed. All paper work gets signed and we leave. (Disclaimer: Monique and the Finance Lady were VERYYYYYYYYY apologetic) The GM said absolutely nothing to us the whole time we were in the dealership.

The following day comes and we have heard nothing. It's around 2:00pm so i decide to reach out to see what's going on. I don't receive a text message until 5:40pm stating that I needed to call the dealership to see whats going on. Today is now September 4th and we still have no car!! Now I have to drive all the way back out there (an hour drive) for the 3rd time to get the vehicle. That's 6+ hours of my time WASTED. WHAT EXACTLY IS THE PROBLEM HERE! ILL NEVERRRRRRRRRR BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN. How can you have a GM in place that could careless about customer service/satisfaction. Customer service is definitely not there top priority at GREENWAY...

I have a 2018 Dodge Ram that I called & asked could they get to my truck quickly before I had it towed there they said yes.It arrived on a Tuesday wreaker left it out back. They walked out Thursday to hook diagnostic which gave a code for fuel pump. I bought an extended warranty, which covered the fuel pump to be fixed, trying to call into their dealership is a joke, most the time you cannot leave a message to any of their extensions because it says there message is full and most of the time it goes to a call center in Florida and their dealership is an Alabama. now with this all being known with multiple calls from me & my wife asking when was they going to get it in the shop? we were told we were not the only customer that they had.So 5 days later they finally got it in the shop to confirm that it was the fuel pump. so now this is Wednesday after being there 8 days and not touched so on Friday, they told me they found the fuel pump and Birmingham and I was sending a parts guy to go pick it up so I checked on the truck Friday evening and they told me that the part wasn’t there so I asked for the service manager to come talk to me and then when he came to me, he said the part was there, so by 5:30 that evening, they called and told me the truck was ready by 5:35. They had been paid by the extended warranty with my insurance but when I made a call about coming to pick my truck up on Saturday morning, they said the insurance had not paid yet, so I got on the phone with the insurance and they told me yes they had been paid the dealership said l owed $238 because the insurance did not pay the tax on the bill but they do I have $100 deductible on each claim that I have. They got payed $1,170.00 from my insurance company when I did go pick up the truck, I was not happy. I did tell him I did not owe him the tax. They did straighten that out and wrote it off and I did walk out only paying the hundred dollar deductible but beware they will try to collect more money obviously.11 days total not...

I purchased a new Dodge Grand Caravan at University CDJR in 2019. At the time of purchase I made it clear to the salesman that I had reservations about thier service department because of some previous issues. Of course the salesman reassured me by saying that thier service department was under new management and would provide the very best service possible. The first time I had my vehicle serviced everything went as promised. Upon my arrival for my APPOINTMENT they promptly completed an oil change and even took care of a factory recall issue without me asking. Considering the good job they did I purchased at a considerable discount a coupon for 3 oil changes with tire rotation. No amount of discount could possibly make up for the frustration I encountered each time I made an APPOINTMENT to have this vehicle serviced . Each time I have made a service appointment I have arrived at the proper time only to hear an excuse about how they can't get right on the service. On one occasion I was informed that they couldn't do the service that I scheduled at all on that particular day. The other two times that I had the oil changed I was informed that there would be at least an hour delay in getting started . Also of significance is the general attitude of the service advisors. They speak to you as if they are doing them a favor by bringing your care there instead of the other way around. The old phrase "the customer is always right " definitely does not apply here. I'm not a crazed consumer who is impossible to satisfy, but I can only take so much. I'll never take a vehicle back to University for any reason . I'm a Chrysler products man ,but I won't buy one in Anniston ever again . Consumers take my advice and take your business out of town as I will be...
