At the end of July we purchased a 2018 Keystone Montana model 3921fb. First of all I usually don't leave a review unless the service, or product is either exceptional good, or exceptionally bad. In this case the service was exceptionally good, and the product is good but lacking the factory quality control you would expect for a product in this price range. The buying experience was quick and painless. After haggling with one of the big box store high volume dealers in the area for more than 3 days, the purchase at Fun Country RV and Marine lasted less than an hour. None of the double talk and BS we had experienced at the other dealerships. Charles, our sales representative, was pleasant and efficient. Credit check and application were completed in a matter of minutes. The manager, Mike was willing to negotiate extras into the deal, that the other dealers would not even consider. The most impressive part of the experience was dealing with Ceasar, the service manager. We had ordered a generator and washer and dryer which needed to be installed. Got the items in a matter of days. Ceasar had the items installed quickly and efficiently. Experienced a couple of warranty items which were handled in the same quick and efficient manner. This dealership truly understands the meaning of customer service. If you want the best price and exceptional customer service I highly recommend this dealership.
UPDATE October 29th 2021 - I had previously given this dealership a 5 star rating. That rating was reinforced by my recent experience. I discovered an issue with my sliders two days prior to a 1600 mile, 4 day drive from Anthony NM to Indianapolis IN. I contacted the service manager (Daniel) and explained my dilemma. He explained that he would do everything he could to help me, and would call back asap. Within an hour he called me back and ask me to bring my unit in. He was very sensitive to my time line. The following day Daniel called me and advised the slider was adjusted and the problem was corrected. You would absolutely not get that kind of service from one of the mega dealers. That is exactly why I purchased my unit from this company. Thanks again Daniel and Martin (service tech) for coming through when it really mattered. Keep up...
Read moreWhen we first went, we were just browsing. That same day Noe took our information. Two days later he informed us we qualified for a used RV and not the new one we had tried to qualify for. However we had a used one in mind, he told us he would get it all ready for us. We told him we wanted to go see it again, and he said they were gonna spray the top of the RV with a special sealant of (Now I even doubt they did), so he said just to drop by on Saturday to pick up. Well, we show up on Saturday and we see many details that were overlooked, the main thing were the tires, Noe gave us 2 tires (supposedly new), we didn't notice they were busted until we took them to the tire shop where they informed us the tires were no good at all. We hooked it up to the truck and left. Days later Sonia needed to come pick up the RV because it had not been inspected, when they arrive they don't take it because the tires are bad, and we tell them "Oh it was okay for us to hook it up to our truck and bring it unsafe? But you wont take it to get inspected?". A day later they brought again 2 tires they said were new but really were not. Again they did not take the RV for inspection. In the middle of the whole tire fiasco we had been deep cleaning the RV, we noticed there was termites! Noe said that he would send a fumigator to fog it. That never happened. Today I received the plates, which is odd since it NEVER got inspected. I called to speak to the owner Mike and he was not there. Spoke to Sonia and she said that it was inspected, that's why they didn't pick it up. That she THOUGHT it had not been inspected but it had been, and she was just not aware of it because the inspection guy had quit! LIES! ALL LIES!! These people are liars, and crooked. And when I asked her about the fumigation she said she had scheduled it but then cancelled it when my husband threatened with informing our lawyer. WE will definitely be letting our lawyer Micheal Zimprich handle the negligence on this case. Don't buy from this place much...
Read moreWe bought our travel trailer here several years ago and have had the vast majority of maintenance done here as well... no more. It seems like they can't keep anybody in the service department that is worth anything. Took the travel trailer in to have the roof revealed, some exterior trim reattached and the shower vent cover replaced... when I came to pick it up the repairs were absolutely sub-standard and there was additional damage to the unit. I left it for another week to have them fix the damage the "techs" had caused and its no better now. They did replace the door catch that they broke but not the fridge door. The terrible caulking job looks the same as it did and I'm not sure the put new sealant on the roof. Got home and did some more looking... they left old caulking and broken plumbing vents on the roof. Looks like Camping World just got a new customer.
Update: After my review was posted I was contacted by Dan Lample the next day. Dan is a salesman for Fun Country RV and recently (2 months) joined their team.
When Dan called, he agreed that the service work that was done on my unit was not acceptable and requested that, if I was willing, I bring the unit back in and let him make it right. While skeptical, my wife and I agreed, to give Fun Country one more shot based upon the sincerety the Dan displayed on the phone.
We took it back in on Monday and it was ready by noon on Wednesday. Martin was the service technician that worked on our unit and he did a great job 👏.
Based upon the experience that we had with Dan amd Martin we are willing to return to Fun Country but will only work with them.
My only question is... Why did a salesman feel the need to make this right and not a "service manager" or the owner?
I trust Dan and Martin to do the right thing and if youre looking for a camper/trailer/boat you should stop in...
