I’ve only been to this grocery outlet twice. The first time, I was trying to shop as quickly as I could before 9 PM and I guess I didn’t inspect my groceries as well as I should have. Because the corn that I got was so pink and clearly way beyond its use by date. I was shocked that they even would sell something like that. I understand that it’s an outlet grocery store, but I got super sick because I still tried to boil the corn and cut the bad parts off as well as I could, which is my own fault. But since my car got stolen I don’t get to grocery shop very often. So I was really excited to finally have groceries that I still just tried to make do. But all of the produce that I got was so disgusting. Even the stuff that didn’t appear to be spoiled. The second time that I went there, I had my electric scooter because that’s my new mode of transportation since my car got stolen, and I turned it off and was walking in the store with it, and this guy comes up to me and says, “Excuse me, ma’am you can’t bring that in here. You can leave it up front cause you know there’s carts being pushed in the store and everything…” And I said, “Well I don’t want it to get stolen so I guess I’ll just leave…” Which doesn’t even make sense because if I am allowed to push a cart, why can I not walk a scooter in the store as long as I’m not riding it… it’s not illegal to take a scooter in a store at all, and I’ve never been told that I can’t bring it in with me anywhere. And it doesn’t have a key or anything.. And I’m not letting my way of getting around get stolen AGAIN… It’s really unfortunate because this is the only grocery store that’s close to my house. But after wasting my money on food that I literally had to just throw away and missing a day of work with food poisoning after attempting to eat what I bought there and the staff being rude and having terrible customer service I’d rather walk 10 miles to another grocery store or pay to have the groceries delivered. I will never go there ever again. I don’t even understand how they’re in business. I hope this review saves someone else some time and...
Read morePhobe is the rudest most disrespectful cashier I have ever encountered. She is definitely working in the wrong demographic. She was super rude. I asked her was everything OK and she got even more rude and proceeded to tell me what I could and couldn't say. When enough was enough I asked for a manager. When the manager came Phobe cut him off and spoke over him. She continued to cut me off as well. He and I had to take our conversation outside to hear one another. I told the manager if she's this disrespectful to you on front of me at her work station, imagine how she acting before you came.
When I got in my car I was completely taken aback. She acted like I was at her private store or house ......I returned every item, the whole basket. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. It started because I decided against some chicken jerkey and left it at the register......all hell broke loose. I thought they had people to put the go backs back but apparently I should have done it myself. Had I known it would be this much drama I would have bought it. I was spending cash money....not that that should make a difference but I have a job too and would never treat people poorly. My perception is she comes off like she has a miserable life and no one loves her. Had she not been so rude I would have told her God loves her thousand year old self too.
You guys should assign her to the wear house or stocking shelves.....you know as minimal customer contact as possible. I'm not going to even go in on the manager who got mad as well because I told her I wanted to return my groceries because the cashier was rude and triggered me. She told me "I don't need to hear all that" They are both pretty new as I have never seen them before and I WAS going every week. All due respect Phobe sucks and hard look how long this review is. RIP Mr. Burns no one acted lime this when he was running the place. Pat you have definitely got work to do over there. Soft people skills are at an all time low...
Read moreFirst time going in today, start my shopping have my basket about half way full. Then... I have to use the bathroom!! So I go to the cashier, I ask for a bathroom response was, there's one for us but not for you. A little surprised, so then I ask we'll is there anywhere close by? She says go to the subway in the next parking lot, go to the subway, I have to by something. Forget it.. I go home. Mind you I'm the only patron in the store along with 3 employees... can I just please use your bathroom!? Nope! Thankfully I wasn't with my kids, all moms know when the little ones have to go, you have to get them to one asap! Ended up leaving my basket with groceries and my bags. Approach could have been a lot nicer from the cashier though. This is the first grocery store ice been too with no public bathroom. Sorry you lost me...
