We had a pretty big family crowd the first day, at lunch. The menu is far more extensive than I'm used to at a taqueria, with dishes I've never seen before and Mexican beer too. I would gladly go back until I'd tasted them all, but I live in North Dakota now. Their hot salsa is VERY spicy, but tasty; they have other options at the salsa bar and you can order Pico de Gallo. My mom and I split an order of Huevos Rancheros and an order of Chilis Relleno. The huevos we're really tasty and very simple, though we're used to a slightly runny yolk and these were hard cooked. But I wasn't there when they were ordered and I know my uncle, who may have done the ordering, likes his yolks solid. It did not detract from the flavor. The chilis relleno were excellent! In fact, our Mexican Grandma Gladys had them all the time when she went there, which at one point was weekly. Grandma Gladys also approved of the rice and refried beans and the whole family agreed they were most like Grandma Gladys', which is high praise indeed. The beans were rather runny, though mixed very well with the rice, and with flavor like that, who cares? Two of our party had the Tortilla Soup and let me have a little taste of it. It was so good we went back to Salsa the next day to have our own bowls of it. It comes with several accompaniments, like cilantro, onions and what I think was crumbled queso fresco, and lime wedges. I also ordered a small cup of pico de gallo that I threw in. There is no other cheese with or in the soup, which was unexpected, but not missed at all. The soup itself has big shreds of tender chicken, potatoes, carrots, celery and probably other wonderful things I'm forgetting, in a light and very tasty broth in a huge bowl. Perfect chicken soup!
My entire, half Mexican family highly recommends Salsa,...

Review: Online menu prices are not accurate as of 11/11/22. Our order ended up being $49 which was a surprise because it did mot reflect the prices I saw online. Ask for the price before buying if that matters to you. Also tortilla chips are not included and costs a dollar; I remember when Spanish restaurants would throw this in for free.
Super burrito costs were over $12 for shrimp and $13 for my husband's burrito just because of extra sour but it was a good amount. The carne asada was especially fatty, chewy and hard in the burrito but if you get the shredded it will be tolerable, at least they were in my nachos. The nachos were $12 and no. I don't understand what places won't just use nacho cheese. It was cheese, the shredded carne asada which is dry and chewy, sour cream, pico de gallo and guac. The best thing was the agua fresca which was the same price as listed online.
The tastes: the shrimp in my shrimp burrito was firm and tasteful, the rice was white only, but the shell was an authentic shell and was chewy and especially tasteful. I really liked it. The nachos, I did not enjoy. The mango and jamaica agha fresca was delicious. And they gave my four kids good sized water cups and a cup holder and I thought...
