The Market at Town's End is a new spot in TOAV (Town of Apple Valley) that I believe is owned by owner of Hitt Plumbing. Like the fact local business owners are reinvesting into our town! Those who haven't been here this used to be the old lumber store and they've converted the area into an outdoor concert, bar, vendor area. They are located on the North side of Highway 18. I believe they are also building an actual restaurant next to Mama Carpinos. We recently visited to watch my talented daughter play her violin with her fellow students and teacher. When we attended there was no entry fee. There is plenty of parking both inside and on the street. This event we attended there were many local vendors selling crafts, fruits and vegetables, and a some selling various merchandise. They were all setup in individual booths in covered "stalls". Nice little setup which added to the whole theme of the place. I see this place expanding and attracting more business. Slowly but surely, TOAV is giving HD residents more things to do without heading down to Rancho or Ontario. I would suggest a more thorough screening of people entering specifically when alcohol and or families or children will be present. I did notice when we left there was an individual now asking to search purses or bags. I would recommend giving this place a visit when there is a farmer's market or concert/performance and support...
Read moreI love this Farmer's Market! I love the set up, the vendor's are super nice as I walked around for the first time at this market. I loved Bigfoot Coffee, one of the vendors who is a specialty small business coffee company who roasts their own coffee and sells coffee by the bag and great coffee drinks. If you have to cover up your coffee with a bunch of flavors, then your covering up a awful coffee from the start. This is coffee the way it should be, fantastic without any added flavors but if you have to add flavors, you still have an awesome coffee base. I also had an opportunity to talk with Tracy and his wife who are the owners of Good Mama's Cleansing Clay. They offer all natural products if you suffer with long term or chronic pain, focusing on holistic services. They offer CBD Products, Cleansing Clay, Herbs and other great products for your health! Their were kids playing and people of all ages here! But, most people coming to the market were not wearing masks and never looked happier. One vendor couple looked very unhappy and were very rude. I figured everyone else was friendly and as I walked past their booth, Solo, I said Hi guys, they did not look up, did not make eye contact, did not say a word to me. Not a good way to greet possible customers 😏 I will be going back to...
Read moreIf I could leave negative stars I would. I thought maybe since there was "new" ownership things would be better. My mistake. Was in a party of 10 which with over 8 they do automatic 20% gratuity. So you know what that apparently means... that the waitress doesn't care how poor of a job she does because regardless shes getting her tip. Waited 30 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. When we asked her what something meant she was rude. When we asked what was in a cocktail on the happy hour menu she stated "doesnt it say in the menu" took 70 minutes for her to come over and take our food order. We had split checks... took her 20 minutes to split the receipts so we could pay.. she still got them wrong so we had to zelle each other the differences. We were there over 2 hours just because we were waiting on her.. never offered refills.. wouldn't even look our way didnt ask how our food was.. terrible waitress... older blonde lady with her hair up in some sloppy bun... thats just some of it... I ordered the filet mingon it was cold, bland, and had a weird texture and I ordered it medium and it was cooked until it was practically rubber.. poor quality in meat... I let the hostess know how horrible the experience and no apologies were offered... DO NOT WASTE YOUR...
