Odds & Ends Again — Local services in Arden Hills

I really like this store and think the prices are pretty good. Today they had a beautiful MCM dining table and amazing six chairs for right around $1200. It was a great set and the price was right. This would be a great place to grab some vintage gifts too. All that said, I do have one complaint that I hope they will consider. I experienced the same at the old store, and it’s that the people who are working are some of the most unfriendly women I’ve run into in retail. They sort of act like you’re a burden when you walk in or want to check out. That, and they are more concerned with eating than saying hello or answering questions. Maybe I’ve always been there at the wrong time, I’m just not sure. This store is awesome they have a large inventory and yet somehow manage to keep their website updated making it possible to shop online which is rare for a consignment/thrift shop. My husband and I found a bookcase on their website and the next day went to the store to check it out doubtful that our item would still be there and it was! We liked it even more in person so we purchased it and were able to pick it up a few days later. I liked that the store contained a ton of high quality things and they had a large inventory of the larger furniture items like dressers and tables. You can definitely spend a long time in this store looking at things. The staff is very friendly and helpful -the manager even helped me carry my bookcase outside when we picked it up. We will definitely be returning to find more treasures for our home...

Great finds at this unique store. They have moved into a larger space. Taking away stars for... 1-) Not the friendliest staff. My husband and I felt watched the entire time we were inside. Watched but not helped. As mentioned in a previous review, unfriendly staff. 2-) The store is simply too packed with things. After a while you stop seeing items and it becomes too much to take in. 3-) Prices have become more expensive since moving. For the condition of some items way too high. We will continue to visit, though not our first stop for thrift. Hopefully they take these suggestions into...
