Went there and bought an Apple Watch got home 5 minutes later and tried to set up the watch and found out it was locked and probably stolen. It hasn’t even been 20 minutes at this point so i tried to return it I still had the receipts and change they gave me. They refused to refund it even though they sold me an unusable stolen product so I was rightfully very unhappy. Their response was just “hey man i just work here” Asked to call the manager turns out they all apparently don't know his number so id have to try to come in another day and see if he's in They offered to exchange it or the most they could do is store credit. I didn't like the other colors of apple watches they had but i tried anyway and lo and behold those are stolen too and were locked. Read moreToday I was at the Ardmore store. I bought four games totaling $117.81. I noticed that I was overcharged five dollars on ninja Gaden z. Not a big deal people make mistakes.
I go back inside to ask the associate to correct This mistake. And he refused to give my money. Saying it is not the Ardmore Store policy to refund money for overcharged games.
I was very upset at this. I told him that other stores in Gainesville and Sherman has made the same mistake, but have never refused to refund my money.
He then told me that he only makes minimum wage and that he does not care. He told me if I did not like it I can leave a negative review So that is what I’m doing
I would like to say I am a collector and I do like buying from game X Change very much. Tyler, the manager of the Gainesville store is an amazing guy And runs His store very well.
I am very disappointed in the Ardmore store! I probably will not be back...
Read moreThe staff when it first opened was rude and very condescending. I'm at least 10 years older than anyone who worked there and have been gaming since I was 4. I've played in pro tourneys and I'm a code guru yet the manager they had there tried to tell me I didn't understand how original NES games worked when her stupid used NES wouldn't play ANY games.....The console is older than you are. I know a thing or two of when an NES just need a little jiggle or something to work and when it's totally useless. Took me forever to get my money back.
The new staff and management are much kinder, helpful knowledgeable and not smug little s** who think they know everything when their first console was...
