Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Ardmore

I recommend this restaurant.

I went here just after 7 pm on a Thursday. Staff greeted me promptly. I ordered 4 items. As I waited, I noted the lobby was very clean. The toppings bar was well stocked and clean, too.

My food arrived in just a couple minutes. Everything was steaming hot.

My unsweetened iced tea was fresh and dark, a unicorn find in the fast food world.

Nacho plate was piled high. Chips were fresh crispy, not stale crispy. Tons of toppings, and the chips were still crisp at the bottom. Probably the freshest nachos I’ve had at a Bueno.

Chicken Muchaco was fresh and soft, but not steamed soggy. The chicken was tender and tasty. Veg toppings were fresh and green. This item was also stuffed full.

2 x crunchy tacos. These were fresh crunchy, not stale crunchy. Full of toppings and again fresh veg.

Every employee I saw took the time to make eye contact and say hello. They all asked if I needed anything else.

This visit was my first time at the Ardmore store, traveling through for sports events. I will use this store again!

Terrific experience that nothing in OKC metro can match.

The parking lot is weird as hell. The off-shoot side street access was a tad confusing, and the diamond shaped flower beds built into the concrete parking spots were inconvenient. My pickup wouldn’t fit completely into any of the spots because of the size of the flower...

I live in Sulphur and was at this location a month ago through the Drive thru and ordered a bunch of stuff and a wholotta platter got all the way home and realized my son’s platter wasn’t there. It’s 45 min drive. I called and spoke to the manager. She took my name apologized and said mention my name next Time I come in and it would be replaced. I didn’t get a receipt. I told them to throw it away. I thought they could get my order correct. I should have got the receipt and I should have checked my order. My fault. It was only a nearly $50 order with the platter being $11 of it. Anyways I come in today and I let the girl at the counter know. She goes to the back. A bigger woman comes in from outside and tells me she isn’t fixing it without a receipt. I live almost an hour away. Anyway she was kind of rude and was popping her knuckles while talking to me. Then I get my food I ordered today and the muchacos were hard. My son’s platter looks like crap. Food is expensive nowadays and when a mistake is made I feel like they should fix that mistake....

Amazing Food and decent prices. HORRIBLE workplace though unless Your Caucasian or Hispanic.!! 100 I was the ONLY mixed/ African-American working there back in Sept., and I was SUPER-Discriminated against!!!!!! My hours were illegally misrepresented, I Wasn't EVER put on the schedule. Or trained. Yet forced to clean up the ENTIRE restaurant and fulfill Every positions Closing duties in addition to fully stock the fried products WHILE Maintaining the back order screen and Cater to Any other body in any other position's Random, interfering request.... I received my paycheck a week later than when EVERY other employee was paid (on a Friday at 5:30pm of a 3-day wknd...!) then the check was misprinted and the GM REFUSED to re-print my check or set up a valid direct deposit for Me. I am still supposedly an Employee, but id rather ACTUALLY get paid for working, and NOT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST in any and every...
