Dollar General — Local services in Arlington

Ok on the 26th of January I went to this store on my lunch break and there was a woman with kids in front of me the cashier Nicole was so happy go lucky and very polite to this woman and she seem like she liked her job. The woman finished checking out and Nicole the cashier was like thank you! y’all have a great day but when It was my turn she didn’t seem like she liked her job so well all I got was here ya go! Bye! But let’s back up to the day before I walked in,got what I needed and got in line there were 2 people in front of me the whole time the same cashier was bashing one of her co- workers to another girl that worked there she could hardly check us out cause she was runny her mouth so much!!!!!! Moral to the story treat me with the same respect you give...

Don't waste your time here. This DG is the worst I've ever shopped at. It's so pitiful that the girl was actually using Kroger bags. They have ONE employee who does good customer service, but he's the only thing good about this store that has nothing your looking for and is always out of stock of what you need. The tall girl is always outside smoking, talking about which customer wants to "hook up" with the other female employee, and never has a kind word to say. It's pretty bad when DGs in the middle of nowhere have everything and this one has zilch. It's basically a third hand...

A new one opened closer to my house thankfully so I do not have to go to this one unless I am right there...Still don't like most of the employees. Music is still too loud in the store. Depending on who is working will determine what you will hear while in the store. I have heard many different genres including profanity filled rap..aisles are still blocked off most of the times with unopened boxes. This is because Dollar General Corp insists that the cashiers and management open, unload etc with the merch instead of HIRING stock people. that can stock overnight...
